Charcoal looked at Ripsaw and sighed, gently taking away the tools and paper work away, generally cleaning up the area and putting everything away neatly, so that when Ripsaw woke up, he’d be able to find it with no issue. Once they were done with that, the grey chicoon thought for a second, before walking out of the tent, making their way to the snacks booth.
“Maybe I get a bag of cotton candy?” Charcoal asked once it was their turn to approach the counter.
“A… a bag? You specifically want a bag of it?” The employee asked, a confused look setting on her face.
“Yes, it’s important that it comes in a bag of sorts.” Charcoal insisted, reaching for their chicoins ad laying them on the table. “Will this be enough?”
The employee looked at the coins, and then back at Charcoal, before shrugging and taking the money. “Yeah sure, let me grab it.”
When they retrieved the bag, they thanked the employee for their help, and started back towards where Ripsaw was.

As they approached him, they carefully as chicoonly possible, they picked up his head and placed the bag of cotton candy underneath it, before letting it back down slowly. Once they finished making sure he’d be somewhat comfortable (assuring themself it was purely so he didn’t grump more than normal, they looked over the paper work he was doing and set out to go take a look at the ride.

(No word wall today, had classes that got in the way </3 will try to write one up tonight though, tee hee.)

currently day seven | previous prompts

the first thing to spot today is ripsaw, not looking as grumpy today. he was sat doing paperwork while sink was talking about god knows what to him. you'd overhear a snippet, sounded like he was gossiping about the carnival and the people working there. you decide to leave them to it. they both did seem... distracted. you could avoid working on the ride a bit longer, especially seeing as you haven't seemly made much progress, or you could try to help once again.

so... what will you do today?

Blueberry couldn't help but to smile at the sleeping Ripsaw. Despite his usually threatening-looking apprearance, he looked peaceful and harmless in his sleep, and Blueberry found it adorable. He walked up to Ripsaw and wound up patting his head, without waking him up, of course, and then he left to go work on the ride. He found himself lost in thought as he walked around the ride, doing the usual screw tightening. He wandered what Ripsaw was working on, and why he felt the need to do it at night, instead of working alongside Blueberry. He couldn't help but to feel troubled by this. " Hopefully Ripsaw isn't up to anything weird. " He's say to himself as he examined the area where Ripsaw had apparently been working. In the end, he shrugged off his disturbing thoughts and got back to work to make up for slacking off yesterday.

slip back into the area. They began tinkering with the ride again. The wires were already... seemingly done. So this time they moved onto the actual ride seats. They looked around and checked the seats to see if anything was wrong with them. They pulled on seat belts to see if they were broken. However without warning one of the seatbelts flings back into the seat, and without warning it smacks Honeydew right in the face. They decide to take a break from the ride fixing to look for a first aid tent.

Zone felt terribly bad for Eon, as they reminded him of himself. So! He decided to help fix the ride again. He snuck past Ripsaw and Sink, not interested in introducing himself, and got to work! Though not much got done, he felt better having tried. He hoped Eon felt better too!

I decide to try and help fix the ride as I look at the instructions on how to fix the ride and looking quite confused as I couldn't figure out what part is what and what the parts are called. I continued to try and figure it out after a few minutes I give up for a bit before continuing to try and fix the ride. I finally managed to figure everything out and was hoping I didn't screw anything up.

Moxie decided to try and work on the rides again. He did his research privately and he brought a manual today. "How to fix rides for noobies" - It seems to fit, he is tasked to fix this weird ride and he is a newbie. What could go wrong right? Especially since whatever could go wrong, should've already gone wrong. Moxie figured as long as he follows this manual, he can fix this beast. That, or he could watch Y-tube for proper, step-by-step fixies. Y-tube never failed him when he tried baking for his moma, it shouldn't fail him trying to fix carnival rides. Right?
