If it was Eon or Sink, Alocos would probably wake him up, but he was scared of ripsaw, so he just kept going. The door rat room was still open, and just as dark as before. But this time, he was prepared, He had a flashlight, a long wooden pole, cargo shorts, and a coat. Hopefully that will keep the rats from biting him.
He turned on the flashlight and used the pole to push the door further open. He shined the light inside the room, and it was thankfully empty, but the wires looked even worse than before, and there were now droppings! EW!!
He looked around, now very grossed out, the crash he had heard yesterday was the computer, the rats must've knocked it off, the screen looked okay, but he would need to turn it on to make sure it was functional.
He left the the room to grab a ladder, he had brought som lightbulbs, so he might as well change them.
There were to lightsources, a ceiling fan, and a lamp, the lamp was the last to go out.
He got the ladder from the shed and drug it back to the rat room, after a lot of struggling, he got the ladder set up. He grabbed the lightbulbs and put them in his coat pockets and climbed up to the fan, he saw that three of the bulbs were missing, he grabbed one of the light bulbs and screwed it in place, nothing, the light was probably off, he looked away, pulled the cord and the bulb he'd just replaced came on, and the other remaining light flickered for a second, but then went dark again. he turned the light back off, and screwed in the other bulbs, replaced the single old one, and pulled the cord again. The whole room was now brightly lit, he climbed down the ladder and began further investigating the wires. they had all been at least slightly chewed, and there were droppings everywhere, and he could see a hole in the wall where the rats had likely chewed through, he put his gloves back on, and started tidying the wires, picking out droppings and loose pieces and discarding them in a nearby trashcan. After about 2-3 hours, most of the wires and almost all of the droppings had been disposed of, when he was done, about a third of the wiring had been discarded because they were so badly destroyed. He gathered up what was left and shoved them in his bag, he left the light on so the rats wouldn't be as likely to come back, and he dragged the ladder outside and shut the door behind him. Now, he could either tell someone about his progress, or try and figure out where the hole led, if he decided to go tell someone, that someone would most likely be ripsaw at this point, which would mean he would not only hav to build up the courage to talk to him, but he might have to wake him up to do so, but he wasn't exactly fond of the idea of sticking his head in a giant rats nest either... Everett quietly tiptoed over to Ripsaw; however, they could not help but snicker at the drool that adorned the corners of the paperwork underneath Ripsaw's mouth. Everett figured that there had to be something useful in the piles of paperwork. Even if their snooping did not work to their benefit, at least Everett would help Ripsaw by sorting out the piles. Carefully trying to not get a paper cut, Everett studied every word on every page. After a few minutes, their eyes were blurry from reading page after page. "There has to be a manual in here somewhere..." They grumbled as their shoulders sagged. Deciding to do something different, Everett started to crumble up pages that did not seem that important. They dragged a garbage can over to the middle of the room and started to shoot the paper balls. "Score!" They whispered when the ball landed in the can. "Everett is awarded the Most Valuable Player!" Everett glanced over at Ripsaw, who was still sound asleep. "Ripsaw is awarded the Most Sleepy Player, but he deserves to sleep. He has been hard at work." They paused, looking over at the clock. "And it seems like I have been hardly working." Everett stood up and began to clean up the mess they had made. Hopefully Ripsaw would not be able to tell that Everett had been looking around.

Haster and Lukta's eyes widened as they spotted an area with wayward screws and pulled-out wires. Lukta questioned in confusion. "I thought this area was fine yesterday... Why does it look like it exploded?" Haster examined the site and quietly responded to them. "It's... Ripsaw's work. I saw him doing this before." Haster stroked xyr chin. "I'm still not sure... but I think he's trying to fix this ride, too."
Nodding slowly, Lukta answered. "I hope so... By the way, he looks so tired. What do you think about bringing some blankets for him?"
Haster agreed, and they went to the shed to grab a large blanket for Ripsaw and carefully placed it on his back. [116 words]

Still nothing. That honestly was not even a shock anymore, because this had to be the most stubborn ride in history and apparently nothing could get it to work. No amount of tinkering could seem to fix it. The ride just stood there, still as a statue, and it was almost surprising that cobwebs and moss hadn't already taken their hold on its still form. It just sat there, not rusting or rotting but still resting, just as it had for nearly a full week now. It was growing tiring, having to come back to fix it day after day either to find nothing explicitly wrong with it or to have tried to get it up and running but finding out, just like all the days before, it didn't work. It never worked. Maybe it was destined to never work again. Maybe, just maybe, it was time to throw in the towel and admit defeat, for nothing seemed to work. But giving up would be a dissapointment in itself. It'd do nothing but dissapoints hundreds of chicoons who were waiting to go on the ride, if nothing was done. Days upon days had passed and somewhere out there, there were still those who who remained patient the entire time, and they hadn't given up hope for the ride yet. So neither were Ichigo and Cashew. No matter how difficult things had been,it wasn't time to pack up their bags and leave just yet. There had to be another way.

The following day, they had returned to see what else could be done, and if they had succeeded at their job from the prior day... Which they apparenrly had not after akl. After a whole day of trying to keep Ripsaw out of the area, scoring the carnival up and down for hours, they were more than a bit shocked to find out he still managed to slip his way through and into the carnival undetected. Rule of thumb: ...Never take a break, apparently, because apparently once you had headed out for the day, anything else can slip in! Including ofher chicoons like Ripsaw who should have been sleeping at home, not in a little desk at the faire. Well, not much they could do about it now, as neither Ichi or Cashew could pick any familiar faces out from the crowds. Maybe it was everyone else's days off. They'd have to get by without any extra helping hands today. So, they took a quick look at the ride to see if they could find anything that had been tampered with. They could not; it looked just fine to them. Not a screw or wire out of place. If Ripsaw had done anything stupid like others said he did, he had to of done a mighty fine job of either hiding it or fixing it back up. So, that was out of the question. Nothing seemed wrong with the ride. There didn't appear to be any flaws with the booth. Ichigo and Cashew turned their attention to the desk Ripsaw was fast asleep at.

Both crept over as quiet as a mouse, attempting to see if they could find any paperwork scattered about that could help them in their efforts. They carefully tried to pick up some pieces of paper to see if anything helpful had been written on them. An instruction manual would be nice, or perhaps a good blueprint of the ride. Cashew attempted to eat a crumpled up wad of paper but Ichi fortunately stopped them from doing so. Distractions aside, they grabbed at whatever they could get their hands on, but unfortunately could not tell how helpful they were at the moment. They'd been working so hard that snatching papers should have been an easy task in comparison, but looking at Ripsaw did not help with the fact that the duo, too, was getting a bit... Tired. Just a little. Once they left the desk they sat down by the ride once more, taking one last glance at it. Then they went from sitting to laying, eyelids fluttering before drifting off to rest.

Today, they were going to be like Ripsaw for once and sleep for a while. That's all.

Grimblo huffed, looking at the sleeping chicoon. It looked like a mess where he slept, but you can't blame Ripsaw, this ride has been chaos.. He quietly looked around the desk, but didn't see anything of interest. He left Ripsaw alone and walked off, looking for just one way to get the ride in better shape after all the chaos some chicoons have caused.. He found some paint and some light bulbs, and he began painting where paint had chipped off, and replacing light bulbs where they had cracked or just died. After some work, the ride seemed.. okay. He sighed and trotted away for a break. (107 words i think)

Sugar found the sleeping Ripsaw to be actually... kinda sweet? He's clearly been working very hard (even if it didn't seem like much came of it) and ended up crashing on his desk. "That can't be comfortable" Sugar thought, but she didn't think trying to move him would be a good idea. So she looked around and found an old tent patch she wrapped around him as a blanket, and tried to make him as comfortable a she could... without waking him up. One thing she did have was a bunch of different plushies and stuffed animals she'd collected throughout the carnival, many more than one chicoon could need! So she decided to pick out one or two to keep Ripsaw company as he napped! (125)
