Max figured maybe the cars were hitting each other too hard, so Carbon was trying to lessen the impact by providing springs for the cars to bounce away instead. They eventually think of a potential answer- since the bumper cars are frog themed, maybe the springs are being added to make them bounce? Although, in Evergreen's opinion, bumper cars are already pretty chaotic. They can only imagine how much more chaotic they would be if the cars could bounce. Oh well, surely Carbon was making sure there would be safety precautions in place to avoid anyone getting hurt. So there was probably nothing to worry about, right?

He's delighted to see the springs Carbon is implementing onto the karts and sees them as a sort of speed booster. Maybe if the karts hit each other just right then they will be forcefully blown back and fly around like they're riding on rollercoasters and that excites him to no end. He's a total daredevil and he's already eager to try out this odd feature. He even offers to help Carbon with the work.
