all seems quiet today. you don't seem to spot anyone you know, until you spot the area ripsaw apparently does paperwork. he's flat out asleep at the desk. you're unsure if you should wake him up. looking at the pendulum ride, you can spot that he's attempted to do something again. he probably snuck in overnight while neither you or submission were around to spot him. unsurprising, really.
aside from that? nothing notable can be seen.

so... what will you do today?

i've decided to...

rou comes to a stop as they spot ripsaw, sound asleep. their gaze moves from him, to his paperwork, to the ride, noting the work that he'd done while they were all gone. it'd probably be best not to wake them...plus if they did, they may have to help out more, and they were not up for that. the entire thing gave them anxiety. without a word, they snuck away, returning half an hour later with a few carnival snacks and a lemonade. they set them next to ripsaw, then left once more. ripsaw could have his much needed sleep, and rou could take the day off guilt-free. i've decided to...

lime explored around the ride, looking at ripsaw’s work out of curiosity. he recognized some techniques he had learned about while reading, but some things seemed like they were done purely in hopes they would work. the almost eerie silence gave lime an unsettled feeling; he wasn’t sure what to do now. he tried a lot of different approaches to fixing the ride, and so did ripsaw, too. ‘maybe this ride’s just haunted,’ thought lime. he wasn’t really one to believe in ghosts or anything of the sort, but this just seemed odd. ..or maybe he’s just underestimating how knowledgeable someone must be in order to repair such a large and complex piece of machinery.

returning back to ripsaw, lime decided it would be best to let him sleep. ‘he has seemed exhausted these past few times i’ve seen him,’ he thought with a sigh. he didn’t want to upset the chicoon, so he quickly left and retreated somewhere where he could take a nap, as well. [167 words]

Moxie decided not to wake ripsaw, they looked exhausted and he thinks they barely had any sleep from working on this machine. Moxie stared at the beast of machine, it looked to be something like a 3-chicoon job yet the stubborn chicoon decided to solo it. He grabbed a blanket and draped it over the chicoon, and then left the area. Moxie decided that he should come back later, maybe bring something warm for Ripsaw when they wake up. "I wonder what Ripsaw would like? Coffee or Hot chocolate?" He questioned before deciding to get both, whichever Ripsaw didn't want, he'd have for himself.(104)

Skipena walks up to his desks and peers over him to see what kind of paperwork there was. The top one looks like an instruction sheet of sorts. She carefully pulls it out from under him without him waking up. Not without a snort or two.
Looking over the instructions, she walks over to the spot he was working on. She can tell he’s done a couple of things on the instruction sheet but must have stopped when a couple of the tools he needed weren’t available.
Skipena leaves and picks up items he needs and placed them near the spot he was working. She doesn’t want to work any more on this machine.. but at least this will hopefully help.

razz sits around boredly for far too long while contemplating what today's activity could be. their brain is as empty as ever and they spend a good few hours just staring at birds or something along those lines before deciding to go for a walk! that walk ends up being something more between a run or a skip than a leisurely stroll, but it drains out some of their seemingly abundant energy either way so it was definitely a productive use of time, especially compared to their earlier activity of staring blankly and thinking about what colour of candyfloss they want to get.

Nutmeg took note of the sleeping chicoon as she gazed around. "Poor thing must be tired. I wonder how often he works." She walked around for a bit and examined the ride as she got lost in thought. Her friend from yesterday wasn't here today, so it'd just be her. She wasn't really in the mood to try and fix up the machine at the moment, but she did have an idea. Exiting the tent and the carnival altogether, she went home.
About an hour later she returned—in her paws were two baskets, one filled with cookies and the other filled with one of her specialties: sweetbread. Walking quietly over to the sleeping chicoon, she set both baskets down next to him. "I really hope he likes sweets." Nutmeg thought to herself as she tiptoed away from him. If he didn't, at least the other two chicoons she saw around would have some treats to snack on if they wanted to!

Teddy hovers over where Ripsaw is sound asleep. She shouldn’t, she definitely shouldn’t. But that’s never stopped her before.

She pulls out her massive collection of sparkly paint markers and goes to town, making Ripsaw the pinkest sparkliest flashiest chicoon in a 10 mile radius. To add to her masterpiece she crafts a small crown out of some of the scattered paperwork and places it gently atop his head.

Teddy huffs in satisfaction as she steps back from the graffitied chicoon. He is now the prettiest princess she’s ever seen. Hopefully he appreciates the gesture. Teddys turns around and saunters off back towards the broken ride, and proceeds to continue bashing it with a hammer.

Muddi spotted Ripsaw fast asleep at his desk. Muddi chewed on his lower lip, unsure if he should wake him. Muddi started to get anxious. It was quiet. A little too quiet. He became restless, and he quickly decided he should be productive with his time. He felt hungry, and so he meandered off, looking for something to snack on.
