"It's worth a shot, would you like to try again?" She asked him, genuinely.
"... No, thank you though. This game's rigged and I don't need to keep proving it to you."
"Sounds like an excuse for being a bad player." Grape gave Hunter a tone that read sarcasm and a face that read a joke. He couldn't help but giggle, at least a little bit.
"If I didn't trust my ability, I'd be willing to admit it. Every man has his faults."
"Alright, whatever you say." Grape responded.

He was met with yet more heckling, and he was getting pretty tired of it. Back at his lake, he wouldn't put up with this sort of nonsense. He tuned the other Chicoon out as he picked up the ball. He chucked it with all his might again, wondering if Slush Puppy will ever just do their job without all the unwelcome commentary.

Loki lashes his tail and stares at Slush Puppy dead in the eyes. The rage he's feeling seemingly not reaching the Chicoon below him. Now that's no good, he thinks.

"STOP SHOUTING. I'M RIGHT HERE." He then raises his hand above his head and makes an obvious "L" before grinning from ear to ear like the gremlin he is. Her snarky remarks and rude quips have brought out his petty and competitive side.

"And I do what I want. You haven't exactly been the best or friendliest vendor to any of us and quite frankly you're incredibly annoying." He spat. 'I might just run you out of business. How cocky would you be then, eh?' he thinks to himself in amusement.

"Nobody tells me what to do." He mutters quietly. He then gets situated and sits all pretty like he hadn't just secretly threatened someone. He has full confidence nobody can dunk him. Reaching his hand out in a "Come hither" motion he cackles like a deranged hyena.

Prompt: in retaliation, spring grabbed the bars. in all honesty, it didn’t even think about grabbing them until slush mentioned it. “you can’t tell me what to do!” it screamed, climbing even higher up the bars. eventually, it got to the top, tightly holding on. “i’d like to see you try to dunk me now,” it snickered, but deep down it really hoped that no one would actually try to throw a ball at it. not only would it hurt, but it could lose its balance and fall, which certainly wouldn’t be funny.

Cinnabar grunted, not paying Slush Puppy much mind as he grabbed the ball and glared at the target in question. He'd spend as many tickets as needed to bruise her ego a bit. Taking a step back so he could turn horizontal to the destination of intended aim, he brought back his arm and dug his claws deep into the ball, before hurling it with all of his strength at the red paddle in the middle of the splash pattern board.
