Etch grabs the chicoin and promptly thanks the chicoon before making his way towards the claw machine. As he walked up to the machine, he noticed that it was packed full of all different kinds of plushies! He took a few minutes circling around the machine, looking at what plushies were on each side. On the right side of the machine, he spotted something he really wanted! It was a small, white, plush rabbit, adorned with a sparkly pink bow.

Etch pushed the chicoin into the slot, letting out an excited honk as the machine began to play a cheery jingle. He quickly moved the claw towards the plush rabbit, stopping once it was positioned to the left of it, saving a little space. Usually, he doesn’t put the claw right atop the prize. Instead, he keeps a little space between the left or right side and does a swinging motion to allow the claw to grab it at a good angle. Etch has played lots of claw machines before and this strategy seems to work well. Etch swung the claw before pressing the red button. He watched as the claw swung over the rabbit, grabbing it between the hind legs. He got it! His wings flapped happily as he watched the plushie travel over to the shoot.

"Thanks for the coin!" With a cheerful voice, Halki turned around and happily waved at them. "Now... let's see what kind of prizes this machine has in store!" He looked around the claw machine to find the slot and put the coin in.

As the buttons on the machine began to light up, he carefully positioned the claw over the plushie that he wanted to get: a large 8-ball plushie. After adjusting the claw position for a minute, he pushed the button to activate the grab sequence! Soon the claw started to move down... but very slowly. Halki crossed his fingers for the claw machine to work properly, as it looked like it would take some time. [117 words]

Vesper looks down at the coin in his paw, his brow suddenly furrowing with fear. "Oh... me, try this? No, no... I'm not very good with machines." He smiles apologetically, attempting to hand the chicoin back to Goob. The dreamon hanging around his neck slaps a paw over the coin, barring any attempt to give or take it. "You haven't even tried it! How will you know you're no good?!" The dreamon protests, causing quite a bit of fuss for the chicoon with all the shaking of his neck he's doing. "Oh, oh, Aster...! But I... well... I suppose I will try," Vesper sighs, a weary dread in his eyes as he approaches the machine and carefully inserts the coin to initiate the game. After a bit of careful maneuvering, a prize drops in the hole, which Aster proudly digs out to present to Vesper. "See?! I told you you could do it!" Vesper takes the prized plushie... and holding the prize for his bravery is enough to make him tear up and graciously hug the plushie. "Oh... I love it." [181]

Alocos gladly took the token and immediately put it in the coin slot. The claw machine started playing an especially annoying tune and the light up signs started flashing as the claw moved to the center of the machine. Alo could barely contain his excitement! he loved collecting plushies and he's an master of claw machines, and all these plushes are so cute! He scanned the box for the best grab, and started moving the claw around, after a couple seconds, he'd placed the claw right over a purple parrot plushie. It was sitting right on top, practically begging to be chosen, he pushed the button and just hoped the claw would be able to get it all the way to the box.

rou thanks the workers for the coin, though was not normally a fan of claw machines. they always seemed to malfunction, or were just a money grab that'd give out a prize every several dozen attempts. still, they weren't one to pass up on a free game. they moved to peer into the claw machine, checking out the various plushies inside. their gaze fixated on a dumb looking frog, and instantly knew they just had to have it. their free coin was not able to get them it, and several purchased attempts later, they were still trying, their face pressed up against the sides of the machine to make sure the claw was aligned. they wouldn't stop until it was theirs.

Jessi slowly walks up to the machine, scanning the various plushies within it before methodically placing the chicoin in the coin slot. The machine whirled to life with lights and sounds- almost catching Jessi off-guard (if she hadn't been expecting it!) Jessi scanned the plushies one more time before her eyes settled on a cute bunny plush, something about it called to her- it wanted to make an emotional connection to her, but she steeled herself, these sorts of machines are always hard to get items out of- she couldn't get her hopes up quite yet- not until she could secure the bun in her own two hands.
She moved the joystick of the machine, lining it up perfectly with the rabbit, then walking around the side of the machine to line it up horizontally, her face pressed against the glass window as she stared longingly at the cute blue bunny- she tapped the joystick lightly, lining up the claw to be directly over the bun, or at least as close as it could be with the angles she could look at it. finally when she was satisfied with the claw placement she slapped the "grab" button, watching intensely as the claw moved down to-hopefully- grab her new friend

kipper excitedly takes the coin, his little wings flapping away. he rushes over to the claw machine, nearly tripping over himself in the process. he eyes each prize carefully before picking one out for his plushie collection. he spots what he believes is a little chicken and decides that that's the cutest little thing that he's ever seen in his life. he fumbles with the coin in excitement, nearly dropping it in the process of inserting it into the machine. as the music starts, kipper's wings flutter with excitement again. taking the joystick in his paw, he direct the claw to the right, then back, slightly left, just a smidge more, then a smidge to the right before dropping the claw. he jumps a few times in impatient excitement

Sugar smiled excited to try out the claw machine for herself! "Calm down Sugar, it's just a test run, even if you won something you probably couldn't keep it" she had to tell herself, but in the end the game is half the fun! She steps up to the mighty claw machine and takes a moment to look at the different plushies inside, trying to see what would be a good one to go for. Some were clearly too stuck in there together, they'd never budge. But one pale plushie sat on top of the others. It looked like some sort of... goose? Sugar wasn't sure but she knew she wanted it. She put in her coin and the claw machine came to life! Lights twinkled and a happy little song played as she moved the joystick and tried to line it up just right. Mulberry her companion fluttered around to each side of the machine to compare angles. With a thumbs-up from her finch friend, Sugar pressed the "drop" button and held her breath! Would she win a prize? We shall see! (183)

Meteion glanced around the room in mild confusion at what a claw machine was until stars eyes landed on the large boxy contraption. Eyes fluttering in intrigue, star walked over and inspected everything thorougly, creating a group of spectators when star finally placed a coin into the machine. Instead of using stars hands to control the claw, star used stars tongue! The coordination and subtle movements allowed stars to position the claw precisely where star wanted it. Pausing a moment, star brought stars tail around so the egg-shaped flame could illuminate the box, allowing Meteion to use shadows for even better precision! Finally, careful to not let the claw move, star pressed the button. The claw descended and grasped a plushie and star whooped in glee, the crowd following soon after as star held up stars prize. [`37]
