A little while after shacking the ride or well shaking the parts of the ride that could be shaken, with to avail it started to dawn on Nola that the caveman approach wasn't quite gonna work this time. She decided to plop down in some grass not too far from the ride. After a while of laying in the grass in defeat at the task before her, she decided to rummage through some boxes tossing different tools and bolts across the ground to eventually find an instruction manual,
she didn't really read the manual but instead flipped through it to enjoy looking at the little pictures instead.

The other day, Skipena had met a kind chicoon named Lottie. She was suprised to learn that this chicoon was made of fabric and could move in all kinds of curious ways! After hearing the conversation that she just had, skipena had an idea... she went to find Lottie.
After finding Lottie, Skipena asked if she would be willing to help her possibly fix this ride! Lottie nodded furiously while hopping up and down! Skipena brought her over to the ride with the rip saw in hand. Skipena made a hole big enough for Lottie to squeeze her paw through.
She thought this could be were the damage to the ride was happening, she just wasn’t sure how to get to the wiring and stuff before. But maybe Lottie could do it… plush doesn’t get electrocuted right?

take a little break, Im getting waaaaaay too frustrated, i decide instead, why not make a sign? I mean, I'm still fixing up the ride, I'm making it nicer to look at! I grab some markers, some metal, and some bolts, a sign's gotta be sturdy! So I get some scrap metal, some nails too of course, and a hammer, I begin hammering and hammering and hammering, I make sure to get lots of colors, I want the sign to look like a chicoon, so I hammer and hammer more, this is way more fun than fixing the ride! Well- im still fixing it, im making it pretty!

Moxie felt a little silly... ripsaw wasn't an item but an actual chicoon- he burst himself laughing to the point where tears formed on his eyes. Well, moxie was getting a little hungry so perhaps grabbing a bite for himself and the others would help in hopefully fixing this ride? Well, he isn't sure, but he is hungry. After a while, Moxie returned with a whole bag of goodies, an assortment of candies and chocolates, sandwiches, fruits, smoothies, water, cola, and even some savory pies and sweet pies. " I'll leave the rest of the food here for the other crew, they seem to be busy at the moment so I don't want to bother them.." [115]

I pretend I know exactly what I'm doing but go and take a "bathroom break" (run away and think.) Lucky is flabbergasted that using random tools didn't work! Normally it would, he's a very lucky Chicoon! Frowning, he turns around and throws tools out of the toolbox to see if there is ANYTHING else he can use. He accidentally lands a wrench in Ripsaw's face. Ripsaw growls and turns his head away but Lucky continues to throw tools around. The blue Chicoon gasps and grabs Ripsaw, trying to keep him down. "No! Bad Ripsaw! Don't attack!" but Ripsaw wasn't going to attack so he just bares his teeth at them. Finally, Lucky finds a white tool. It's long, and oddly fluffy. Then, he realizes his companion, Coinflip was licking off the rust on all of the tools and he had grabbed his tail. "How? Why?" he mumbled at the confusing cat. Lucky turns around declares he needs to use the nearest port-a-potty. Ripsaw frowns and starts to hiss, clearly seeing through his mask of knowing what to do. The blue Chicoon sighs and points the way. Lucky races over, grabbing Coinflip as well. The two Chicoons exchange a look of confusion as they hear loud sobbing. [209 Words]

Everett watched as the two Chicoons left. What were they supposed to do now? It was clear that they were not tricking the blue Chicoon into thinking that they knew what they were doing when it came to fixing the ride. But then again, Ripsaw was not able to repair the ride either. Everett sat by the ride and considered their options. “Maybe I can call a technician while they are gone…” They said, a mischievous grin pulling at their lips. “Then when they come back, they will think that I fixed the ride.” Everett grabbed their cellphone, ready to dial up a technician. However, they slammed their flip phone shut when they realized that they only had two quarters. “I do not think fifty cents will be enough to hire someone…” They mumbled. Everett walked away from the ride, deciding to go lay down somewhere far away from the rides.

Ace wasn't sure why they kept coming back to this place. Last night, they lay awake thinking about ways he could fix this ride... He also wondered why the actual engineer hadn't shown up yet. On arriving, he could hear Ripsaw and the other blue chicoon talking... Well, attempting to whisper, but Ace could hear every word. Sounded like Ripsaw was onto him, but the other chicoon had faith! Luckily Ace had done a bit of research the night before, although numbers and technical things had never been their strong suit - time to get to work and see if he can actually get the ride up and running. Alocos was dumbfounded, have they seriously not relized he was just a whelp?! He shook his head and shuffled out to the area the chicoons just were. He really needed some better fitting gear... He had hoped to be able to talk to the blue guy, but they've already disappeared, although it should be easier to find him again, now that he knows his name is Ean(at least he's pretty sure thats what Ripsaw had called him.)
Just as he was about to go after him again, he noticed a half-open door to a dimly lit room, he decided that talking to Ean could wait, and he pushed the door open and carefully made his way inside.
most of the lights in this room had went out, only 1 of the 5 was still working, and even that one was flickering. the floor was covered in wires, and there was a desk with what appeared to be a control system for parts of the ride, plus a computer to the side of the controls, it was probably used to watch the ride's cameras. He didn't know a lot about wiring, but he knew enough to troubleshoot a computer,(mostly due to him having a cool gaming setup!)
He followed the cord to where it was plugged in, or at least tried to, it had been chewed by something. The teethmarks seemed a little big to be a mouse, but he couldn't tell for sure because how dark it was. He looked around the at the other wires, and saw that most of them had been chewed as well. Could this be the source of the problem? Chewed up wiring? He tried to figure out where they were plugged in at, but it was to dark and messy. He rummaged through the cords, trying to find a piece that he could take to Ean. Once he found one, he quickly left the room and shut the door behind him, and examined the chewed ends a bit closer, the teethmarks looked like a rat's but bigger, like cat size, rats dont get that big!(r-right?!) Alo shuddered at the thought of giant rats, he packed the wire and his hard hat into his bag, and he contemplated taking his boots and gloves off so he could move around easier, but decided against it because there were too many sharp things on the ground. Now, where should he look for them? it's close to lunch time, so maybe a food cart? [416 words!]
