Prompt: "I'm sorry I don't know what to do" Sugar mouths to Froge. She's torn between sparing the poor chicoon from getting dunked, and actually trying hard to hit the target to spite Slush Puppy. She herself is leaning more toward sparing, but her companion Mulberry is also egging her on, seemingly more offended by Slush Puppy's mocking than Sugar is herself. But, in the end, it seems that Sugar doesn't have much of a choice as she turns toward the ball being held out to her. "Well, I guess I'll give it another shot..."

Sugar shrugs, and tries to focus, but the delicious smells of the faire foods are distracting. Her finch friend grabs Sugar's face in her tiny hands, however, and makes her focus straight at the target. She rolls her shoulders and gets ready to throw, but Slush Puppy's giggling distracts her again. Why it seems that the red and blue chicoon has been giving EVERYONE a hard time... "At least it's not just me" Sugar thinks. "But then why are they even running this game? Maybe that's the whole point! They just wanted a reason to pick on people" She squints her eyes suspiciously at Slush Puppy "Nah, probably not that deep." Sugar shakes her head once more before giving the target another shot!

Meteion huffed at the very obvious goading, but felt stars feathers fluffing in agitation anyway. Reaching into stars backpack, Meteion finds no more tickets. Glancing around to stars friends, star finds starself alone! Head whipping back to Slush Puppy, Meteion's headwings flutter in confusion, fear, then worry as Slush Puppy continued to grin. The grin seemed to stretch and stretch, Meteion found starself feeling more and more unsettled. "This is my first time to a carnival, be nice!!" Slush Puppy just laughed and laughed until Meteion scittered away in search of dropped tickets.

Star was able to find a few more tickets in a variety of places! The ground was easy, just snatch them as they fall from the pouches of those on rides! The trash cans yielded a good handful as well! Meteion eventually found stars friends and begged a few more tickets, claiming to need them for something so important, and star would definetly pay them back later!

Rushing back to the stand, Meteion saw Slush Puppy and Froge still in their places, Froge was still dry! Meteion grabbed the ball from Slush Puppy and threw it again before the other chicoon could stop star, tossing a ticket before the other chicoon can say anything. [207]

Reaction: Bonnie's face scrunched up as she was ridiculed for missing the target. She slapped another ticket into Slush's outstretched hand and snatched another ball from the overflowing pile in the basket. The target suddenly seemed much smaller than the first time...probably just nerves. Either way, she had to hit it this time, not only was Slush watching expectantly beside her, but there were also several onlookers. The pressure was really on this time 'round. Shaking the sudden blurriness from her vision, Bonnie stepped up to the line and eyed the target down, focusing as hard as she could on that little red center.

An imaginary audience began cheering in her head as she suddenly envisioned herself standing on a pitcher's mound. The crowd was roaring as a faceless figure walked up to bat, but the bat was..strange? There was a large red dot painted on the end of it, and the batter wiggled the bat in preparation, yet it teased Bonnie. She wound up, preparing to throw the ball as hard as she possible could, and then, she did! The ball zipped through the air, flying towards that bat at an unreadable speed. Her eyes widened and she took an anxious step forward, would the ball hit its mark?? - [210]

Reaction: Toasty looked at Slush Puppie, looking a bit irritated with the Chicoon Infront of him. Toasty looks Slush Puppie up and down, glaring at her as he did. Toasty grumbles as he hands over his ticket. He doesn't really like Slush Puppie at all as she seems not such a friendly face.

He just keeps staring at her as if wondering what she needed the ticket for anyway. He lists off a few ideas in his head, maybe she needed to pay off a loan, maybe she wanted to save up for something, or maybe she just wanted to be greedy. Toasty thought the latter would be the right thing as it didn't seem Slushie needed anything... if anything Froge seemed to be needing the help as he was stuck in the dunk booth but hey it was fun to go and see who could manage to tip him.

Eventually he goes to go and throw at the target, putting all his frustration into his swing. the ball going very speedily towards the target, as if the ball was not a ball but instead a dart, and by how fast it was going it certainty started to look like a dart.

Nyota blinks once. Twice. She stares blankly at Slush Puppy. She reaches behind her as if to grab a ticket, only to lash a paw out and grab the ball.
"HEY!" Slush puppy yelps, attempting to grab the ball back. Nyota holds onto it with an iron grip, her expression clearly indicating pure rage.
"OOOOOOOO YOU MADE HER MAAAAAAD!!" Another chicoon yells in the background. It's from her troop, clearly cheering her on. Nyota stares Slush Puppy down, not speaking a word. She successfully yanks her paw and the ball from the other chicoon, then tosses it up into the air a few times. She glances up at Froge. She can see the poor thing sweating bullets. She rears up her throw, and she sees Froge flinch...

She misses the target. Again. Before Slush Puppy can laugh, though, the ball hits her. Also again. Smack-dab in the nose. She recoils, and Nyota walks up to her.

"Whelps should not attend to carnival games," She says calmly, as if she didn't just attack one with a ball, "which includes you. Me and my troop will enjoy this carnival. Do not insult them. Thank you."

She walks away, herding her "whelps" as she goes. One seems to stay, though.. he wants to play. (word count: 211)
