Well hey there champ, how the heck have you been? Long time no see! Jeez has it really been over a year since our fishing trip at Camp Rhody...? That doesn't seem right...

Oh but- actually I've got a fishing-themed game right here in the carnival! Stick to what you know, right? Heheh... It's not as fun as actual fishing, but it'll do until we can get back on the water. Wanna give it a go?

Pop's fishing booth will be open every other day during the Chicoons Summer Event starting on August 17th. "Fishing" Will earn you items through use of RNG, these prizes can potentially include pre-made chicoons as well as event-trait items. Most of the posts on this booth will be made in-character as Pops and you are encouraged to do the same with your fisher-chicoon

if you do not own any chicoons, feel free to use Miles instead !

Pops bounces back behind the thin sheet in front of his booth, messing around with some supplies just out of sight.

Alright, everything should be ready for ya! You get one cast every other day, so make it count! Now, I should have some lures to for to choose from in the front area there...

You ready to eh, "cast off" now? I've got 3 different lures for you to choose from, each have their strengths and weaknesses. It's no fun to spoil the magic but I can give you some hints about what you might find "biting" certain lures!

Ol' reliable. It's hard not to catch something with this lure, but you're probably not gonna find anything super impressive either.

This lure is extra fun and fancy, it attracts fish of all types. It can be a bit harder to reel in though.

Flashy, fancy, and bright, most fish honestly can't stand it. But you wouldn't believe some of the things I've caught with it!

Nodding along with Pops as he talks, you consider merely pretending to use a lure, and instead shoving your hand directly into the prize basket behind the booth and grabbing what you're after. Pops won't be happy if you're caught though...

Pssst... Hey, hey you! Yeah you! C'mere, you wanna earn some extra rolls? Check in with me at the beginning of each round and I'll hook you up, I just need you to do somethin' for me...

Pops blows his whistle at the escaping chicoon.

GET- JAM? JAM WHERE ARE YOU?

A small chase ensues but Rattlecage is quick to zip into the nearest electronic he's compatible with, leaving carnival security stumped and Pops disappointed. You sit behind the booth innocently as Pops returns.

Well that was, um, odd. Wish we could've caught that guy but at least I found him before he gave out any unearned prizes! ...right?

Anyhow, this carnivals been a lot of fun, but this old guy's about ready to pack up and head home. I'm thinkin for the last round y'all can just grab whatever item you want. A little thank you from me for comin' to visit. Maybe you'll even visit me before a whole year has gone by next time, hah!
