Clementine and Key looked at each other after the interaction, then looked over the massive ride before them and the box of tools. "It's alright, we all have days like hat!" Clementine replied, giving a shrug of their shoulders. "I have whole mornings like that where I hiss and try to bury myself back under the covers!" Key could not help but chuckle at that.

"It's true, can confirm," she replies. "But... I think you may have the wrong chicoons. Clementine and I have never..." She finds a hand smushed up into her mouth, and her wings flap rapidly in annoyance.

"What my sister means to say is we will try our best and help as much as we can! Come on sis!" Key found herself tugged towards the shack, before giving out an exasperated chuff.

"Why did you tell them that? We know nothing about mechanics!"

"But we can try! It can't be too hard to learn right?"

"That sounds like famous last words..." Clementine laughed, as she tried to pry the door open for her sister. With a soft sigh, Key stopped and try to help open it as well. "How do you talk me into these things anyways?"

As they walk away, Skipena looks at the ride.
“I don’t know what I’m doing!” She calls! But they don’t seem to hear her. She stands there for a moment but gives in and walks over to the tool shed.
Inside she sees all kinds of tools that she has no idea how to use. “Well… I guess..” and as she goes to pick up some stuff she thinks she can use, a over-the-top cheery chicoon steps in. “How ya doin’?!”
Skipena jumped and quickly spun around. “Oh! Oh hey George.” One of her strange buddies.. she had let him run loose around the fair to play games. He was very hard to keep track of. George looked around “look at all this fun stuff!” “Oh yeah.. apparently these guys think I can fix the pendulum ride..” Skipena looked away for a second to pick up something and looked back to see George going out the door with a bag full of tools. “Wait wait! What are you doing!?” She jogged up next to him. George was happy as could be and walked right up to the ride “I’ve got this!” He says and starts working away.
Skipena is baffled… and slightly concerned. Not sure if George knows what he’s doing buuuut… “ok you do that!” And she slowly backs away and then jogs off. At least this is no longer her problem! She didn’t plan to ride that one anyways.

i've decided to...

Jam mozies on through the gate marked with an employees only sign. No one seems to be properly guarding it at all. She squuezes through the tight gap loosing a bit of fur on the chainlink fence but otherwise makes it through just fine. She wanders around a bit trying to act inconspicuous but no one seems to pay her much mind either way. She brushes past a few broken down rides as she nearly bumps into one of the chicoons. "Oh uh sorr-" she's interrupted as it begins to speak. "Maintenacne?" Oh yeah sure that's me." She says a bit high pitched in nervousness. The chicoon beckons her to follow and she's handed over to two other chicoons. She takes notes of the two chicoons before her. Looking just as unimpressed by the larger grumpy one. She listens to what the other has to say, shuffling her paws awkwardly as it tells her her task. "Riiiiight...." she breathes a bit anxiously. Well let me take a look. I'm pretty handy. She marches on over to the shed and grabs a few tools she might need, shuffling back over to the ride with them jumbled in her paws. She dumps them on the ground in front of her. "Ok let's see...hey you got a check list?" she asks. Not waiting for an answer she circles the broken ride inspecting it, knocking on bits of metal here and there. THe ride creaks back in response. She clambers up onto its deck for a further look. "Well nothing outwardly seems to be wrong with it but to make sure we gotta open her up!" She looks around a bit for a panel to open, finding one near the arm of the pendulum. "Now let's take looksie..." She grabs tools here and there tinkering about with some bangs and clangs as she does...whatever she thinks she's doing. "Hey this aint so hard!" Not taking in account that she could be causing more trouble than it already appeared to have. "Let's boot her up!"

i've decided to...

lime takes a peek at all of the tools in the shack. he was familiar with some of them, such as the more basic ones like hammers and screwdrivers, but some just seemed.. odd. mixed amongst the real, useful tools were tiny, colorful whelp-sized toy tools, none of which lime knew the origins of. he stared at the tools on the table, trying to figure out what to do with them all. the chicoon had never fixed something before, especially not something as big and mechanical as a ride. though, he hoped he could learn - it’d be an interesting conversation starter! however, the biggest question he had was, ‘why did they let an amateur not-a-mechanic like me try to fix the pendulum ride alone?’ surely they were putting the whole park in danger by letting lime fiddle with electrical wires and power tools. i've decided to... inspect the nuts and bolts of the machine. Has anything come loose? No? Everything is held together just fine! Perhaps it’s the power source, not that I’d know where to begin when fixing a ride engine, but it never hurts to try! It seems to be in good working condition. Inspecting all of the lights and buttons I notice that everything is off, except one blinking red light. Looking closer at the label under the light it reads “scream capacity” What could that mean? Upon further inspection there is a lever labeled “scream release” in a desperate attempt to fix the ride I pull the lever. The engine bellows and howls. Then it offloads the joyous screams off all the riders from the past few days. The howls sound like a mini carnival is taking place from inside the machine. Then silence, or relative silence given this is a carnival. The ride captures the joy experienced by its passengers, how odd.

"Uh... But I'm not here for..." The two chicoons were walking away so quickly that Haster's words didn't even reach them.

Just a few minutes ago, xe had been so excited to get on this ride. And now xe was stuck as a maintenance chicoon - until xe could get the ride working again. Even though xe knew how to fix simple small electronics for xer friends, xe'd never tried to fix something this big!

With a small sigh, Haster approached the shack. "Well... I hope they can at least let me ride this thing afterward." Xe grabbed a set of drivers and wires and slowly walked to the ride. [110 words]

Fix it! Well, try to at least.

Korbl looks at the ride before him, tilting his head as he tried to figure out why it wasn't running. After a few moments he let out a small sigh and hurried over to the little shed, grabbing any tools that looked useful. A few different sized wrenches, hammer, some screw drivers, a pair of pliers, and a ladder! Once he was satisfied with what he grabbed, he headed back to the ride. It was time to get it working again!

With a new found determination, Korbl examined the outside of the ride. As he rounded the ride for a fifth time, he stumbled over a massive, black wire that was running along the ground. Curiously, he follows the wire as it seems to lead him to the left side of the ride. Not far from the wire was a metallic box. He's seen those before, those boxes are in houses and control the lights!
Korbl was quick to pry open the box, before him was all kinds of blue, red, and yellow wires. They all were connected into differently colors, maybe that was why the ride was broken? Carefully, he began to switch around the wires into their correct spots.

Suddenly, a bright flash of light blinded him! Korbl leaped out of the way with his eyes shut tight. What on earth happened?!
After he regained his composure, he realized he was fine. Nothing seemed to hurt, he slowly opened his eyes to see the lights on the ride were flashing on and off. It was so pretty!
While the ride still wasn't moving...Korbl felt pretty accomplished getting the lights working again! For the remaining time, he sat there just watching them.

A job well done, he thought to himself!

i've decided to...

Error walks over to the shed and grabs a tool box. It sorts through the box learning what's in it before deciding to walk around the ride cleaning up any trash he sees to make his work area cleaner. He writes down any areas that look like they need some extra TLC in his notebook. He sits down back by the shed to brainstorm any ideas

i've decided to... Figure out what the different tools are.

My Terrible Lawyer decides to check out what all of the different tools are used for he starts by picking each one up individuallyand inspects each one carefully. (Making sure there is no flaws or damaged tools) He then proceeds to test each tool out for himself. Even though he has never dealt with tools in his life before he accidentally smashes his fingers with the hammer. He then picks up the drill and presses the button which in turn he drains the battery.
