Prompt: It took a minute for Etch to collect himself after hearing Slush Puppy's rather mean speech about the dunk booth. Although he didn't want Slush Puppy to see it, his feelings were pretty hurt about being called stinky. Etch couldn't help but tear up after being insulted but tried to play it off by lying, stating a bug flew into his eye. He hopes that Slush Puppy didn't notice. After wiping his eyes, he walked over to the pile of tennis balls beside the dunk tank. He dug through before picking out a ball that felt slightly lopsided. While walking back to the throwing area he turned around and met with the saddened eyes of the pitiful chicoon sitting in the dunk tank. In his head, he was torn between wanting to prove that he had what it takes to hit the target and wanting to miss so the poor chicoon wasn't dunked in the cold water. Although he was torn, he decided he would try his best. Etch squinted to get a better look at the target before throwing the ball as hard as he could. He watched as the ball flew through the air. Unfortunately, the ball only hit the corner of the target and was unable to trigger the dunking mechanism. Maybe next time?
