In Farlo's line of work, it is incredibly important to have a keen eye and a superb memory, so when another Fox from the Fig Forest asked him to obtain a rare herb whilst he was doing his usual gathering, he couldn't say no. Farlo was stubborn, to the point of being brazen at times, so when he decided on his plan that morning, there was no turning back.

With unwavering confidence, he gathering his knowledge from the grey foxes, and scaled the branches of a large oak tree, only to lose his footing and plummet moments later to the ground with an undignified thud. Refusing to admit defeat and knowing it would help to have a vantage point, he lay there with furrowed brows, thinking of a solution that still involved the tree.

Just when Farlo's pride was about to even so much as waver, a friendly fox nudged his side and cheerfully invited herself on the mission of finding the herb that she had overheard him muttering to himself not long ago. Farlo was, again, stubborn, but not enough to not accept help, and as he rolled back over onto his paws, the two helped each other up the tree, bonding and laughing during the assignment.

Well, up until he fell again.

Memory: Bark's favorite memory as a gatherer is when he was a pup and just learning how to gather berries, herbs, and other essential things. It was a sunny day as he was out gathering with his mentor, he for some reason cannot remember his mentors name. Bark ended up getting distracted by a monarch butterfly and trailed off away from his mentor, he went through thickets, over a creek going deeper into the forest.

He remembers seeing a den, though he had no idea who's den it belonged to nor what animal as it looked like it had been abandoned for years. He followed the monarch butterfly inside the cave, it was very dark and he was having a hard time seeing what was in front of him. He tripped over something, he believed it was a twig or root branch. He stumbled as he fell into a big pile of leaves and branches, he got up and looked around. He saw a little bit of sunlight was coming through a crack in the dens wall, he looked around as he saw great big claw marks covering the wall.

He remembers being told the legend of the great sun bear who doesn't like to be disturbed. He heard noises from behind him as if a giant animal was sleeping, sure enough.. there was the great sun bear, Solar. Bark became scared as he tried to find a way out, when he found a small hole where he could escape, he heard the great sun bear start to cry in his sleep. He looked over his shoulder to the great sun bear, he couldn't just leave the bear alone. The Sun bear seemed sad and lonely, it didn't seem like the legend was true of how the Sun bear destroys everything and is angry.

He went over and put his paw on the Suns bear paw as a way to say, "you're not alone. I'm here." The Sun bear woke up and was going to say something, but unfortunately, Bark does not remember what the Sun bear said. Maybe he'll remember one day.
