Vix is an extremely friendly viscet. She’s loud n’ proud, ready to get down n’ dirty! Ruff n’ tuff! She’s very open, excitable and positive. She has an optimistic look on life and’ll be there for you lickety-split (If anyone’s buggin’ you, you better bet she’ll take em down!) She’s a big extrovert and loves to clown around. On the other hand, she can be a be a bad sport when she looses (she’s awfully competitive) and can be jealous and controlling. Sometimes she gets too loud and overpowering, which can make people uncomfortable. [100/100]

OSBORNE

Vix loves Osborne to bits and pieces. She has a huge soft spot for him. Since he’s a bit of a “shy-guy” as she coins it, she loves to stick up for him and help him get out of his shell (At least she thinks she’s helping). She thinks he’s a huge nerd and sometimes might go a little too far joking about it, but she only means it in good spirits. Whenever they’re in crowds together, Vix tries to help him get more comfortable and encourages him to speak. Together the two of them have a fairly good relationship, full of inside jokes and fun old memories. Vix likes to take him all around and “hit the town” whenever she gets the chance and loves to have fun with him. Seeing him “blossom” and get out of his shell really makes her happy. She has the best time talking to him and sure as hell’ll chase anyone down who lays a finger on him!! Of course, like siblings do, their differences can clash and they get into some arguments. Her being so head-strong and him being so reserved and orderly- they have some disagreements. He insists she doesn’t have to worry about him so much and can get a little embarrassed by her loudness. She can get stubborn and disruptive, while he “thinks he knows everything”: but at the end of the day, they love each other and cherish each one of their differences. [245/300]

GATSBY

Vix is quite a bit different from both of her parents, but is definitely a daddy’s girl. (Mom’s kinda quiet.. She has trouble relating to her) Although Gatsby is always out on business, whenever Vix can get time with him is like a new holiday to her. She’s always so curious on what he’s been doing all this time they were out of touch and’ll sit and listen for hours (if he’s got any to spare, that is). This especially applied to when she was a kid, where she love-love-loved to hear what he had to say. V knows how it is with business, she loves the city life and has had many jobs now as an adult. Oh, but she’s still a kid at heart- and’ll sit and stare wide-eyed just as she did before. Oh, and she digs Gats’ humor. His sly attitude is great for leaning into jokes. The two just have this weird, unconditionally loving way of getting along. [163/200]

EXTRA 2 - STORY

setting: home- first week of summer vacation. vixie is a child.


Summer? My favorite season! ever!
And guess why?-- Dad gets a break from work and we all get to go do stuff!

My doorknob shook and the door quietly swung open. It was my mother, Alex.
“Hey, Vixie, dear?” She whispered, then smiling at me. “Dad’s home.”
Well, I might have broken that painting in the hallway bolting outside like I did- but who cares, right?
“Thanks, Mom! Love you, Mom!”
and out I went.

Osborne was already downstairs, happy to see Gatz after his fifty-millionth-business-leave. He was hugging him.
I saw Oz's notebook sitting on the table, he probably ran downstairs with it and set it there. I fought the urge to take it while he wasn’t looking. He never let me see what nerdy notes he took or what smart thing he drew.
Dad looked up at me- smiled slyly like he always does, winking- “Forget who I was?”
I cannon-balled in for a group hug while Mom stood behind us, happy.

Gazadriel Cecilia
Goblin Gator // Best Friend
Vix and Gaz are very close friends. Birds of feathers. They love to do whatever they can together whenever they can. Both of them are night owls and love the city, taking on the world together. They have very similar senses of humor. They like to mess around, playing pranks on people every now and again and getting into their shenanigans. Gaz loves her bikes and thinks they are out-of-this-world cool. Vix is amazed by how Gaz pulls her tricks on the other folks but doesn’t really like to admit it. Gaz is a “street bat”, as she likes to call her, and doesn’t really have one particular home- so Vix invites her over whenever she can and cleans her up. Even though she likes pranks and isn’t a “goodie-goodie” herself, Vix doesn’t particularly encourage Gaz’s stealing habit and tries to avoid the subject. All in all, they’re besties! Giggling and fooling around together whenever they can and loving every moment. [161/250]

Vix and Brax are on great terms and hang out every once and a while. Since Brax is a bat, he only comes outside at night/in the evening- around the time Vix is still outside rigging something up- so they pass eachother by and get to chat. Brax is a people-person like Vix, so when they see each other they just keep on talking-talking-talking. Both are loud and humorous and love to joke around. Brax is also a bit of a prankster, so when they get together a little bit of that happens too. Brax is a dj, and sometimes combines his technical knowledge with hers, fooling around and making some crazy contraptions together (Like the music-playing-robot Osborne). They also have very similar music tastes. They have a nice, friendly relationship together and have a lot of fun. [143/250]

Icarus is a fisherman, working at the docks in the city around the clock. Vix runs into him sometimes down there, and they get to talking. Icarus is on the reserved side (And she thinks it’s kinda cute honestly). He gets a little shy, and she gets pretty loud- joking about how quiet he’s being and “how’s the fish?"- you get the deal. She teases him a little, but means it all out of good fun. Hopefully Icarus understands.. He likes her fun-loving attitude but can get a little overwhelmed by her energy and volume. They’re on good terms, for the most part. They need to get to know each other more. [117/250]

Loved both your writing styles. ;w; Razors, yours was to the point, easy to follow, and active in a way that's hard to describe- I could get a very, [i]very[/i] clear sense of how you portrayed this kiddo. Skylark, yours was a joy to read. Just the way you used certain phrases and slang made me feel like the character you formed was speaking to me. Was nice to see how you both kept her reasonably young; means she still has breathing room to grow in her character.

Razors: okay so I couldn't find anything I didn't like?? One of my old friends from middle school loves to cosplay so this reminded me of her alot. Loved the inclusion of her academic hiccup. (Could serve to be negatively consequential later on in her life) Loved how you included the family members in the art. Her bubbly character was adorable as well. ;w; The boys in the family are true introverts when you get down to it so the foil she makes with them is very impressive. And anime. Yes. Yes to it all haha<3

Skylark: Aah I definitely didn't find anything I didn't like. ;w; And your relationships with other species!!! I know it probably has more to do with you not owning any viscets currently, but I loved seeing this. ;w; I personally imagine most of my closed species characters would interact somehow in the same universe. (It helps me keep track of them all haha) Loved the art too like wow<3 Your style is enviously beautiful, and this kiddo looks beautiful in it. The sly grin is just on point man. Loved the extras as well, and they served their purpose very efficiently. (Filling in the gaps for characterization- pretty much what I intended for them so very noice :3c ) Very impressively done for a last minute form as well.

Gonna have to give this one to Razors, who is gifting it to Marki-moo I believe? Just make sure that everything checks out on that end since I don't have much to do with it. ;w; I'll notify Strudel tonight! When it came down to it, I was really impressed with how you incorporated the family and described the relationships. Tell Marki-moo to expect family art. ;u; These guys really do have a special place in my heart.
