happy anniversary !!!
this little guy's based on a leaf sheep (Costasiella kuroshimae), a type of sea slug that has the neat ability to photosynthesize! they essentially "steal" the chloroplasts (photosynthetic cells) from the algae they eat, which also gives them their green coloration! they are also quite possibly the closest thing to a pokemon that actually exists \o/

for this kal I want you to design them a pet/companion! this can be written or drawn, and you're allowed an extra of 150 words to briefly explain anything about them (how they became their companion, personality, relationship, etc)

Whinny created this little guy from paper, leaves, bamboo fibers, magic, and love! She is a self-taught alchemist, and loves creating companions. It inspired her to start creating companions for other kals, ranging from mythical birds to small fish! Despite all that, her and Bingle are in it for the long run. Bingle is the perfect companion for her.
It's a little odd looking, but that's just because it was her first creation. Over time, she's created beautiful creatures, but still cannot let go of Bingle's unique cuteness.

Extra: Costa's true love is the ocean and she has known that since she was only a kit. On one of her first dives down to the ocean floor to look for sea shells, she ran into a colony of phytoplankton. She waved to the small group and offered to move the rocks around for them so the whole group could have maximum sunlight. They cheered for her as she moved the rock away. One very brave phytoplankton named Phyto asked Costa if he could join her on land where the sunlight is everywhere. She happily agreed and grabbed a small jar and old fishing line to create a portable home for Phyto. The two love spending their days swimming, sun tanning, and sharing their chloroplasts. The two are the perfect friendship because they both know that best way to recharge is sunlight!

Around 18 Moons ago, A Deer had been foolishly caught in a silver net, injured. It seemed to be 4-5 months old. Rune was strolling the forest that day before sundown. They had encountered the deer, And worriedly Tried to help. Despite not having the dangerous properties of a normal Kalon, She made sure the deer could safely return home. Around an hour later, The deer was out of the nets grasp. The deer came back, visiting every day. The small little deer never had a family, But had finally found one with Rune. The deer wasn’t the only family member in the group.. Rune had made friends with squirrels, To feather friends and even colorful fish. Each day, She would visit all of her friends, and write them little sonnets <3
