Prompt: Comet is a whirlwind of energy, most often seen as a blur of color amidst the greenery of the property. When Shin and Infiniti were brought home, they kept to themselves and shyed away from the other dogs. It was a few days later when Comet finally had the chance to see the two new pups, trotting up to the two new additions who he had only heard little about. He towered over them as they shivered on the blanket they rarely left, avoiding his curious stare. The little pups gave a soft growl, to which Comet barked sharply and stuck his nose to the top of Shins head. Infiniti barked once loudly as Shin scrambled to run away. Comet switched from foot to foot backwards, big smile on his face before bowing down - he wanted to play! The pups did not... they really wanted nothing to do with him. They turned away from him and pointedly ignored his barks.
Days went by like this, Comet vying for their attention every time he came in from roaming the property. It was about a week later that the pups saw him coming and jumped to attention, barking at him to stay away. He made little indication of slowing down and hopped over them. The pups couldn't believe it, how disrespectful! They took chase after him, two fluff balls yapping across the yard. As Comet ran circles around them, he'd slow down just enough for them to try to jump on him and drag him down.
Day after day this would happen, the pups annoyance swiftly turned into excitement waiting for Comet to come around. Soon after the pups found themselves playing with the other dogs too, no longer keeping to themselves too scared to step off the blanket. The pups learned to stand up for themselves, but also learned when to take things not so seriously! A valuable lesson given the new environment they came into. Comet comes around every now and then to say his hellos and get a play session in with his new family members.
