Collar: How about a very loose collar one that just gently and lazily rests around her neck/shoulders giving it the APPEARANCE of a cloth being wrapped around. Kind of like a scarf.

Prompt: Avy is a very head strong leader, and a good one to boot! She is also a very caring mother, having raised her pups to successful adulthood - One of which was a pup from her litter,
Echomarch. Avyanna is a traveler by nature, and a curious one as well, and as she grew older she began to move through the large spaces of earth that has lead her out of the desert a few times, wandering looking for a place to call home again. Even Dogs need to spice up their living arrangements from time to time.
Even though her pack mainly consisted of her family, Avy has adapted to form packs with even OTHER dogs who have managed to wander into her desert!
It has been documented by The Rescue Team; after hearing these wild claims from the locals who seemed so sure they spotted the Adjule - that this Adjule has been spotted a few times leading different types of dogs around biomes. For instance someone once claims to have seen an Adjule in the treacherous sands leading what they called a skinny army of: Sloughi desert dogs from the North African region for majority, and a few Saluki that have found themselves at her territory or wandered away from home. Another claim comes with A small pack of Adjules herding together with Dingoes in the wild, it almost seemed like she was found taking in lost souls or "usurping" packs without a leader so that they have a fighting chance to survive. Both claims have naturally been followed up with rather poor photos, so no one actually believes them because of all the AWDs roaming around (yes she absolutely lived amongst a pack of them once before they realized she wasn't and AWD).
The minor Legend which has now come to be known as:
Desert Angel or
Usurper of Grace, as been a rumor amongst a few people who have strong beliefs in these cryptid sightings.
Now having found herself caught in the cage that brought her in, the new reports that still claim to see her AFTER her disappearance from her habitat must have probably fallen onto her daughters whoa completely unaware of the legend behind the sandy-dog napper.
During her time at the shelther Avy has been nurturing and guiding to some of the younger dogs that have found themselves here. She has seen many come and go, so she is confident that they will all get adopted one day. So she's kind of become the campfire mom to the residents, guiding and supporting, she'd managed to keep everyone's spirits up.
As a domestic pet, Avy is usually wary of the common local dogs, they are a bit too... much, for her sometimes, but she is patient none the less.

--One day as she was laying down in her kennel, she senses a tall shadow overcome her. Opening her eyes and looking up she sees a human who seems to be staring at her with an awe. A familliar whine catches her attention as she turns her gaze back down to other own level, and there, through the gaps, was her son. Sticking his muzzle in, trying to greet her. This immediately gets the old dog on to her feet as she approaches the kennel doors licking his cold nose. Echo didn't seem to be letting up, pawing at the kennel he seemed determined to get her out.
"I think... they're related." The young man hums. Waving over at the shopkeep. "I know I only came in to visit, but.. I think we'd like to take her home, I think they know each other."
The shopkeep looks down at the dog that's just bursting with nervous energy, and hands him an application form before returning to his desk. Suddenly another man startled the poor customer once looking over his Shoulder "Gonna take this one home?"
"Ah!" Nearly dropping the form the customer laughed turning to meet Jefferson. "Yeah, um, actually. I think she'll be happy to be home with family again."
"Of course." Jeff nodded, throwing his arm around the person "Come, let me help you fill these out, this form is a little updated, but it's basically the same as the older ones."

Moments later the customer places the form onto the desk and smiles waiting for the shopkeep to review it. Elated to hear the date of the decision, he nods with a "Thank you" and goes to sit by his friend until the dog is ready to leave.
