Prompt: Dmitri's best friend is Nahla, a Euphorian Racehorse. She is actually a pretty shy and skittish equine, and we brought Dmitri around to comfort her and give her a companion, since she was a bit afraid of other horses, goats, and even chickens. Dmitri was such a calm and stable dog that we thought having his influence would benefit her positively, especially since he is so responsive to commands and would often just 'sit' or 'lay down' for long stretches of the afternoon while she grazed. If other horses came near he would bark and warn them away, which endeared him to Nahla ever the more.

One day we were surprised to see her come over and lay right down beside him, resting her head atop his back. This went on for several months, with the two of them boarding together in the stables. One day the farmhand went in to check on them for feeding time and couldn't find Dmitri. Low and behold, upon hearing a bark the guy looked up and saw Dmitri perched atop Nahla's back, sitting as a parrot would on someone's shoulder! Now Nahla loves to let Dmitri climb up and she will even sprint around, letting him 'ride' her until the trail gets too bumpy and he hops off.

Prompt: Timmy's favorite companion are the geese that visit on a stop during their migration. One in particular who he affectionately nicknamed Lieutenant Dan because he held one leg up so often, he appeared to only have one. He didn't often move and was quite the lazy gander.
However, Timmy and Lieutenant Dan got along quite well and often cuddled along the bank of the pong and watched the others rest. Each year when L.D and his flock returned, he still remembered Timmy and would go to meet him like they'd never been separated.
