Cupido Draft Horses, or more commonly known as Cupido Drafts [CDH for short], are typically bigger and thicker than the average horse. They tend to range from 15 to 18.2 hands high, however, the largest ever recorded was a 19.2 hand high stallion, the founding stallion of the breed. Cupido Drafts are robust draft horses with stark roman noses, typically sporting well-defined muscles and big hooves to accompany their large size. One of the most sought after traits within Cupido Draft Horses, though, are their thick manes and tails. Their mane and tails are incredibly silky and have a natural curl, giving it a beautiful wavy look that is very popular around the world for shows. Cupido Drafts, though originally thought to be bred for look and companionship, can be used for almost any event that they are eligible for.

Show Name: Forgotten Knowledge
Barn Name: Papyrus
Gender: stallion
Halter Color: cream!
Prompt: once upon a peaceful day, an incident happened at the empyrean stables. a section of the stables had collapsed. two of the drafts, tarn and papyrus, would have to be temporarily moved into an enclosure together. at first, they kept their distance. tarn was a gorgeous deep blue draft with birdcatcher spots, while papyrus donned a simple yet elegant beige and white. their differences made them nervous. they both thought the other beautiful, and their own coat lacking. eventually, papyrus made the first move. he nickered a falsely confident "hey," which tarn reciprocated. after a few days of these awkward back and forths, they started to warm up to each other. they started grooming each other, having silly horse banter, and just being pals. eventually, the collapsed stables were fixed, and they had to separate again. but every opportunity they get to see each other again, they always try to make the most of it.

Halter Color: space inspired
Prompt: Glacier wasn't giving Quasar any room to breathe when she first arrived to the stables. He was lonely from being the only Cupido Draft on the farm and got so excited he forgot his manners. As he was chasing her around the pasture, another stallion charges Glacier from a neighboring pasture.
Dandy, a Sleepy Hallow Percheron, aggressively neighed at Glacier and shook him back to his senses. The two couldn't fight since there was a fence separating them, and thankfully it wasn't an act of dominance but social behavior. Quasar never forgot that moment and every time she saw Dandy after that, she would go over and greet him and they would graze or even play together.
