xiBudgie didn't always get the point of disguising themself as a pikachu. Since they never really wanted to be caught purely for being mistaken for one. Then for their trainer to just be disappointed that he wasn't the real deal. So they decided to become a less desirable pokémon. Picking caterpie as not many bug type trainers stay on their route. Making it easier for them to be less desirable for other trainers who viewed the small bug pokémon as weak. That was tell he found a safe haven called Umberfall. A place void of trainers just pokémon living their best lives on their own.

Prompt: Cat had always spent a lot of time around forest areas, where the most populated pokemon species were those of bug types. Being a mimikyu and their disguise being a pikachu, they often felt out of place living in their forest homeland. There were very little electric type pokemon found there and no pikachu's either! So Cat had thought one day, why did they disguise themselves as pikachu if there wasn't any real pikachu living in the forest? Of course trainers and other pokemon would realise that they weren't a pikachu when they couldn't even be found there. But there was one pokemon that you could find anywhere in the forest - and that was caterpie. Cat soon got to work in making up a new disguise, not only for the reason of it being a much more convincing one for the area in which they lived, but also to try and fit in better with the other bug pokemon who they'd like to try and befriend.
