Nothingness may be scary to others, but it is simply a fact of life for me. I've been feeling well, the ritual did not hurt at all! There were so many friends there to support me in any way they could, and it made it painless. I know I will never be lonely again now that I have friends like you, Pupper."

What... does being the God of Nothingness even mean, anyhow?Chicoon God Lore isn't intensely well-developed yet, so it will be interesting to see if this is a push in the direction of continuing that development! I can't say this with certainty, but I believe Pit is the first God "born" in a while (in the Chicoons Cinematic Universe) so it may lead to some shaking up with Moon, who has been gone for a while. He is also the first non-chicoon to become a God, so another irregularity in the CCU!
Pit's title as God of Nothingness is an interesting one. He values relationships with other chicoons over everything else, which will be his role in aiding Chicoon Society as a
character, but as a
God... Pit will be tasked with regulating the balance between "something" and "nothing"- there cannot be too much of something, you know? He will also help Chicoons feel more comfortable with the concept of "nothingness", whether that be in more mundane ways like "why isn't my package here yet?" and in the tougher ways, like "why don't I have a relationship with this person anymore?" or "what is there before life or after death?"

The reason that normal chicoons weren't able to escape the Pit is actually related to my response to your question for Pit! It's easy to get out of normal holes- you can step out of a pothole, and it takes a little more effort to get out of a sinkhole, but you can do it. Pit was magnitudes more powerful than your average hole, so powerful that his energy held chicoons in. The only beings more powerful than Pit were the Chicoon Gods- they were the ones who made the staircase into the Pit to bring everyone in for the sealing ceremony. But now that he is a God... who will be able to stop him?

When considering a booth to do for this Event, I was between Pit v2 and a Secret Santa MYO booth, but since we decided to do the event in Janurary and I did a MYO booth for the Fall Event, I decided Pit v2 would be the better option.

The current lore is that Pit is an extremely powerful Pit that, because of his powers, developed mystical abilities, which includes some form of teleportation!

Nothing happened until the last day, when Pit dissapeared and left a note behind (which you can read on the front page of SSP v2!). This was the first of many notes Pit would go on to leave :)

I already had Pit's design finished and the following days planned. If more than half of the participants had voted "no", I would have likely come up with something like...
"as you refused to take the hand of the chicoon next to you, and your vision started to fade, you could see a dark, black hand reaching out from the darkness in front of you... you take it."
And then you wake up and everything happens as usual. I may have written in that the sealing ritual was only intended to make Pit a normal chicoon, but with the unending friendship of all of the participants, he became powerful enough to be a God. I didn't want to paint the exisiting Gods in any kind of negative light coming out of the SSP, so I would have tried to avoid that as much as possible, especially considering that all of the Gods (besides Sweaty and now Pit) are owned by people other than me.

Normal holes don't experience any senses, but Pit had begun to develop sight, hearing, etc. He just hadn't developed other senses yet. Now, though, as a chicoon he sure does!
