"Hello! I was just wondering... how did you discover pit - and do you think there's a reason that chicoons couldn't leave when we fell in? Since there were stairs into the pit you would think there'd be a way out - i wonder if the concept was similar to the maze... What do you think, sweaty? What so you know about the pit?"

Oh gosh oh gosh oh gosh.
Jackson was flustered. When he'd offered to host a party at his place, he hadn't considered that Cedar would actually take him up on the offer. He was ecstatic and terrified and flustered all at the same time, and his head was spinning as he tried to figure out how to host quite so many people. Luckily, he kept his venue in a mostly decorated state. It didn't quite fit the theme - most of the decorations were from an old birthday party - but it would do.
He decided to focus most of his time on preparing food. He made more of his famous mashed potatoes than he'd ever made in his life. He commissioned some emergency cakes from a friend, hoping that six massive sheet cakes would be enough. He bought enough snacks that he could have fed several, large families. By the end of this resource gathering, Jackson was exhausted. He sat down on a chair at the back of the venue, proud of his work but hoping that it would be enough.

People started filing into the venue, and Jackson stood at the door to welcome all of them individually. He learned the names of several others that knew Pit; both those who had been above ground, and those who had explored below. When Pit finally arrived, Jackson was happy to see that he'd brought Mariana with him. He'd made sure to read up on some chicken facts before hand. After all, it was important that a host be able to cater to all of his guests. He'd learned that blueberries were a great treat for the birds, so once Mariana was inside he directed her to a bowl of them that he'd set in a quiet corner.

The night went on and on. Between refilling the bowls of snacks and cutting more pieces of cake, Jackson did his best to socialize with all of his guests. Everyone was so interesting and lovely! He made so many new friends as he made his rounds. Eventually he managed to make his way over to Sweaty. He thanked him for coming and they made some small talk for a while. Jackson realized through the conversation that Sweaty seemed to know Pit very well. He decided to ask more about their relationship. After all, a friend of Pit was a friend of his.

"So how long have you known Pit? Have you been friends for a while?"

Just as it had been in the forest, Pit was surrounded by a crowd of people. Jackson was able to meet with him at some point during the night, and they chatted for a while about all that they both had been through. Pit seemed very relaxed and excited about the whole thing. Jackson was happy to see him like that. It was a completely different Pit from the screaming abyss that Jackson had first met in the forest. It was nice.

Zodiac had to bring something to the party. He ended up trying to decide what to bring to the party for hours. He figured that food was a basic option. He wanted to do something more for everyone. Parties were fun after all! That’s when Zodiac had the idea. He would bring several bag of glowsticks to the party and hand them out to all the guests. Besides, glowsticks would go great with music and all the dancing that would probably be happening. So as he marched into the party, he carried all of the glowsticks with him.
