Prompt: today, reptilian was able to get fiesta to tag along with him to see the pit! unfortunately, today wasn’t the best day to do so. “look, let’s see what it wrote!” reptilian said, eagerly looking down at the note with his friend.

“oh..” he whispered.

“help?! you never told me we came here to help..” disappointedly replied fiesta. reptilian shook his head, signaling that he wasn’t expecting it either. this wasn’t a normal thing, and he immediately became worried.

suddenly, the two became startled as egg appeared. “aw, how cute!” fiesta smiled in adoration towards the chicoon’s size. reptilian, however, was confused. “who are you, and where did you come from..? what’s happening to the pit....?”

the three chatted for a moment about the pit. as fiesta stood puzzled, her friend became increasingly more angry. what did egg mean by “the pit has been causing problems?” what has it done wrong..? he did want to help, though..

“let’s help the friends! i don’t know who they are, but the more the merrier!” fiesta shouted as her whutta smiled. sighing, reptilian hesitantly agreed to go with her and egg to make sure everyone, including the pit, didn’t get hurt or put in danger. however, he had to admit one thing - he was terrified.

GodFather gasps slightly at being beckoned by the chicken, a bit spooked it could actually make a gesture??

He takes the note excitedly and reads it, "Oh! Nice to meet you Mariana, I'm GodFather" he introduces happily

He happily gets up to follow, "Where are we going?" He asks the chicken excitedly as he follows, still not expecting an answer but since the chicken can gesture, maybe it's more sentient then he originally thought

He looks at all the chicoons that join, now more curious then before, wondering why a chicken would need so many chicoons, but follows nonetheless

GodFather watches curiously, looking at the other chicoons booping their noses then looks at Sweaty, "Oh! That makes sense! Thank you" the old man smiles, hes the first to enter, he's old and therefore the best to go first in any position to keep the younger ones safe, though Sweaty seems quite reliable regardless

Prompt: Kevin hesitantly follows Egg. What's going on? Is it right or wrong to worry about the pit creature that has been writing these notes? Kevin looks around and feels a bit insecure, should he really follow in to the pit though? He felt like the time he had spent writing notes was rather surreal. He has a lot of unanswere questions, but he still keeps following Egg down the stairs. Kevin hopes to mt the one writing these notes and he really hopes it is a nice creature or chicoon. Not some weird monster please? By the thought of that, a shiver went down Kevin's spine.

Jewel is taken aback by the talking chicken for a second, but then realizes that she has been in the magic... for a while so this is probably a DREAM! Yes that has to be it! She is curled up in that snow hole cuddling the scarf that fell from the sky right now, and she is dreaming a wonderful dream until she gets rescued. 'Knowing' that she is more than happy to follow this chicken and see where this dream takes her!
"Ok Marina! I will follow you! Show me what you got!"
Seeing the other chicoons being gathered does worry her but hey, while it may be a weird, it is a dream after all!
Stopping at the edge at the edge of the pit, watching Marina go through the wall with ease and others bump their snouts she decides the best place to go through has to be EXACTLY where Marina went through. She takes a few steps back and lunges forward.

Mango looks at egg then the pit, he wants to do his job and be security, but what egg was saying also was kinda good for security. I mean, getting the Chicoons that were stuck in the pit out sounds like a really lovely idea, and counts as security! Mango eventually turns back to Egg and follows behind them.

As per usual, Wumbie approached the pit in the dead of night. It was her friend, and she'd always keep it company!
Instead of a note, she was greeted by a small, crumpled piece of paper. All it said?
"Please help"

Wumbie stared at the paper, a look of concern and fear settling on her face.
Did the Pit need help? Was something wrong?!

There. Something new was there. Stairs. She couldn't see the end of them...
...but she could see a very small Chicoon.

"I see you've found... the Pit," the tiny chicoon says. "It's been causing us a lot of problems lately. Follow me, and you can help solve those problems and get our missing friends back."

Wumbie stood for a moment. She needed some time to think. Something about this little Chicoon made Wumbie feel uneasy. And what about her girlfriend, Host? She couldn't just hurl herself into the pit all willy-nilly! If someone needed help, then Wumbie wasn't the one for it, regardless. Wumbie was weak, cowardly, and childish. She didn't even know how to speak properly without some kind of stutter or mixup!

"No!" Wumbie exclaimed. "The Pit is my friend! If there's something bad about The Pit, then I can't help you anyway! I have someone waiting for me back home!"
She stood her ground, hoping Egg wouldn't try anything sneaky.

After the....'cringe' moment that he just had with the chicken (which he is going to have random flashbacks to and probably die a little on the inside), he stared back at it and its recently regurgitated faux rupee. He looked down at the item and then back at the chicken before yoinking it when it started to preen its feathers. After he had...somehow hidden the item, he looked down at the newly presented note that it gave him. He gently took the chicken's note and read over it. "Oh, so your name is Mariana? Well it is nice to meet you, I am Anthracite," he said with a small smile as he reached over to give the lil bugger a couple of headpats- but it seemed uninterested as it turned around and started to walk away. But somehow it seemed further than it was. How long has he been standing there?

Without further hesitation, Anthracite ran after it, glancing over as a few other chicoons joined both him and Mariana. He greeted each and every one of them as they joined...although quickly stopped as soon as it seemed that there were...a whole ton of them. Did they also fall down the pit? So he wasn't the only one?...That was...interesting. He wondered why he couldn't see them earlier, but honestly he didn't want to think about it too much. At least it was a relieving thought that there were others here...and not that it was just him with Other Anthracite lurking about. Who knows where that could've lead-

As they...walked Anthracite started to hum, something familiar- maybe a tune where you summon your trusty steed- or maybe even a ranch...weren't they just the same? He didn't have too much time to dwell on it as they seemed to reach the end...or what he thought was the end. It was a dead end for sure but seeing Mariana disappear like that... Anthracite went to go reach his hand to where it disappeared off to, only to quickly withdraw his hand as Sweaty appeared...seemingly out of the wall. Huh. He almost touched some sweat. Ew.

When Sweaty told him that he had to enter here. He thought for a moment. He looked back over his shoulder. Should he trust them..? He took a small step back and shook his head, "No, I'll wait."

...Ah, dear. Everybody knows little scrawled-out ripped letters saying 'help me' are never good news. It's the one thing everybody knows and fears. Where was the cheerful little note the pit would leave daily? Spritely was almost afraid to ask what left the note, and why the rest of it had been torn... They needed to know what happened, though. This time, they wouldn't leave without a little investigation.

After a little scrounging around they found the staircase, but no other half of a note to be found. Ghost peeked over the edge and into the darkness, squinting as they watched a... Tiny chicoon? Rise from the abyssal stairwell. How very bizzare. One od the Pit's many friends? No, this one seems a bit uncertain...

"Yes, and I've grown quite fond of it, too," Spritely replied to Egg. [i]"...Had a feeling that the friends were kind of... Stuck in place down there, though. Can they get out? Is there a way out at all? Is there anything they can at least eat down there, for sustenance? I always did wonder what would become of those... Friends. Of course I'll come." And with that, they follow Egg.
