Artemis smiled and peeked over the side of the pit as he tossed the note inside. " Enjoy! " He shouted into the pit, hearing his own voice echo back to him.

Would you like to look like a chicoon always or just be able to sometimes look like a chicoon to make interacting easier?

When Pumpking returns the next day, there is an extra message on the back of his note. It reads:
I think both. I would like to be a chicoon because it seems right to me. I will always be a Pit, but maybe I am something more. If I were ever able to become a chicoon, I feel I would be able to make friends easier.

Puddles giggles and grabs his new rock. Noticing the shadow Puddles does the smartest thing in the world. They start running towards it at full speed. Any shape is gonna be a new friend!!

Honestly he shouldn't question it too much as someone was already following him around- and he had an irrational fear of...the Other Anthracite. He took a quick look over his shoulder before looking back at the chicken. Fine. He'll approach it. But not...normally. He decided to do a dodge roll while yelling "HUH HUP CHEYA," before rolling in front of the chicken and letting out his final scream, "HYAAAAT".

Prompt: Borgata hears screaming and wailing in the night, and makes his journey to the pit. Each night a different Chicoon from the village goes, and tonight it is him. There is a note asking about companion species and on the back he replies:

"Yes, I've got a companion. They're a buck'a'lotl. But they're very special to me because I found them myself, while swimming in the very same cave I got my parasite. I like to carry him everywhere, but I've been leaving him at home now that it's winter, because I don't want him to freeze. He's small and cute, and has four little legs and a tail, but he needs to stay inside the water, because that's how he breathes. He will pop his head up to say hello, though! He likes looking at the world around him."

At the bottom of the note, Borgata draws a crude picture of himself, his parasite, and his Buck'a'lotl.
