Outside of the Pit
When you return the next day, another note is waiting for you.

"After reading about your hobbies, I have picked up a new hobby. Birdwatching. I can see many birds from where I am. In fact, I saw an extremely interesting bird the other day, but I do not know what it was called. Could you bring me a photo of an interesting bird so I can find out what that bird was?"

Prompt: after reading the note i ran home and fetched my camera, and then off to the forest i went to take some bird pictures, after hours of hard work i got the pictures printed off. i then put them in a neat tied bundle and a mini parachute and allowed it to sail down into the pit.

She then doodles a picture of herself underneath, forming a heart with her hands. She paper-clips an image of a Bearded Reedling before letting it float down.
She screams into the pit, before deciding to rest nearby.
