He paced back and forth next to the Pit and ended up tripping over a stick. Wait! What if he scribbled a note in the dirt next to the Pit? That would have to do! Hello! I'm happy you liked my cinnamon rolls! I baked them myself! I love baking! Do you want more baked goods? I can make you whatever you want! I hope you see this note. I will bring paper and a pen next time so I can leave you a better note!

'hello mister, misses, mx, pit! i'm hero, and i don't know that i'm who you meant to write for, but i can't find anyone else nearby, so i'm writing you instead! don't worry though, i'll pin your note up so the person will see it if they do come back! i thought you sounded very nice and that you might be lonely down there, so i wanted to write and say hello! i'm really interested in comic books and super heros! i taped a comic book and a candy bar to the letter, a comic book i like so you can see what i mean about heroes and all, since i'm not sure pits in the earth do much reading, and candy because i feel awful bad about not being the person who gave you food earlier!! i hope you enjoy the book!!
