[237/250 words]The next day, after he had long since warmed up, Rocco was back at it. He remembered to put on gloves this time before he left the house and headed back out into the yard. His first order of business was giving the first snowman a face. He had gathered a number of items from inside the house that he felt would make a great face. He brought them outside in a ziplock bag and strode right over to the snowman he had made.
He stood in front of the snowman for a long time, considering his options. He settled on using two large, blue buttons for the eyes. The nose was a pen cap that he had never found the pen for. For the mouth, he used a thick piece of rainbow yarn that he shaped into a wide smile. He stepped back and wore an equally wide smile as he admired his work.
He stood for so long, in fact, that he started to get cold. He snapped out of his daze and realized that he'd forgotten to even start his second snowman. Panicking, he smushed together two small balls of snow to make a very tiny snowman. It barely stood out against the thick wall of snow in the yard. He quickly used some tiny, decorative rocks to make up the face before disappearing into the house while he could still feel his fingers.
