prompt: He enjoys it!...Sometimes. He usually gets up early in the morning to shovel the walkway for those who use the sidewalk before shoveling his own walkway. He also offers to help shovel others walkway- for free...unless you are his friends, then he is charging you by the second. This started because of the sheer audacity that his friends had to throw their own snow pile into his nicely shoveled walkway. They also went as far as freezing it over with water.

Of course, he didn't take this too lightly, as he went out and sought revenge on them. In early mornings he'd go out and bury their houses in a mountain of snow before leaving the scene of the crime. Then, when they ask for help, he come and shovel their walkway (not their house) and salt it before slapping that hefty bill on the door. Usually this process takes hours, but it is all worth it.

What if he doesn't get paid? Well, don't expect to come out until summer.

Shoveling snow was by far the most miserable thing to have happened to PawPaw. It was already cold enough to the point that his small wings got all shivery, now the freezing chill affected his whole body while he shoveled away.
PawPaw was old! He's got 'ancient dusty bones', according to the whelps. He almost slipped on the ice with every shaky step, the risk of throwing out his back looming over his head.
On the bright side, the reward was tantalizing! Nice hot chocolate and a warm seat by the fireplace to thaw his bones.
The best incentive to get him through this frigid chore.
