Upon arriving Helios could tell the sky was thick with smoke, ashes floating in the sky like forbidden snowflakes. The sounds of sirens and crackling fire soon filled the area, people yelling to and fro, they screams and wails as people called out to lost family and friend was all to familiar to him. The fire truck soon screeched to a halt and Helios was out and running as soon as his paws touched the ashen ground. Entering the building he was greeted with sounds of groaning as if the building threatened to collapse right then. Ears perked forward picking up the weak help he heard from above. And soon became the task of trying to locate which floor it originated from. The stairs yet to be destroyed, Helios took two at a time occasionally stopping to try and locate the voice. ’It’s getting closer’ he thought before running again. After countless stairs he paused once again and with his ears perked he could hear the voice a lot clearer than before. ‘This is the floor’ he thought, hoping he wasn’t too late. He picked up a faint scent of human amongst the fire and smoke and nose to ground padded towards to smell. Soon his nose bumped into something and felt a small wisp of air and realised it was the human. Grabbing him by the T-shirt, Helios dragged the human down the stairs, as they started to crumble behind him. The sounds of screams and cries once again filled his ears and the air seemed a little cleaner and was met with pat and praise ‘’Well done Helios’ a gruff voice spoke before leading him to a refreshing bowl of water. Unfortunately for Helios he couldn’t rest as his job had just begun.

Story:

Status Report:
Logi is living their life with all motivation going toward their work as intended. Though created to help us firefighters to run into fires without hesitation when we cant; this tracker doesn't just stop working when the fires are out but also chooses to help in other ways with our station handlers including during training and even public outreach at the schools for drills and demonstrations. Though they may look a bit intimidating they love all people, especially children, and feel a responsibility to keep everyone safe.
The intense dedication to the work outside of the fires intensifies the passion Logi feels towards running into one when on calls.
Their pelt is helping in conditions that may result in rekindling fires and when there are chances of backdrafts and other problems to protect those whom may be inside and retracting their tongue seems to be helping them focus on other senses to make it easier to find their victims with the chaos of a fire.
Though some missions have been quite intense including some close calls regarding the safety of our station members we have not once lost a victim in the field and plan on always keeping it that way. Including Logi being there to lend a helping paw.

Inspired by thunderstorms this Tracker has developed an equally fierce personality to match. Exceedingly rambunctious and dominant, they draw attention to themselves wherever they go. They're a bit of a know-it-all, stubborn and clever; hard to handle unless you're used to them. They were trained as a search and rescue dog but love to learn new things.

Tracker Dog #037 » werepickle


A Tracker Dog designed to aid firefighters. Their pelt is naturally fire-retardant, allowing them to enter burning buildings when it's too unsafe for rescue workers. Unlike most other Tracker Dogs, this dog can actually withdraw its tongue a considerable amount during rescue missions.

A museum guardian. This elegant canine patrols the halls of museums or art galleries, sniffing out those with bad intentions. They rarely stay in one place for long as they follow a collection as it tours the world. They deeply enjoy travelling and meeting new people, though, unfortunately, dislike the smell of paint.

Tracker Dog #039 » RammuIsWeird


A massive striped beast with a gentle disposition. This Tracker Dog was designed as a companion to guards working the night shift. They're friendly by nature towards their handlers, though show a lot less patience towards intruders. They may not maul burglars but by the amount of pants that had to be changed before an arrest, they may as well have.

Tracker Dog #040 » Pandora!


This Tracker Dog is lazy. They were trained as a guard dog but were declined because they couldn't bother chasing intruders. They were then trained to aid law enforcement but couldn't bother to exit the patrol car. Their last training involved search and rescue, but this training was quickly aborted. They seem to be a family dog whom enjoys getting pet and taking naps. Very unusual behaviour.
