Prompt: Kady is grateful for her two best friends! Sara, who is blind, and Sara’s twin brother Steel, who is the eyes for the both of them

Ever since they were very little, Steel has helped Sara get around. Never doubting her abilities to move through this world by herself, but always there to provide a guiding paw or gentle nudge when she asked for it.
When they were pups, they saw Kady at a dog park, and Sara instantly felt a sisterly connection to her. Kady had been abandoned, left because all her breeders saw was that she couldn't, which in their eyes made her not good enough. She was alone, being brave and trying to hide her terror after losing all she had ever known. When Sara nudged up against her, she flinched away for a second, but got ahold of herself and they introduced each other. Steel knew what to do, and herded their owner over to the pair, tugging gently at her pant legs. She immediately understood, and when she reached them gently picked the new little pup up. "Don't worry little one, you're safe with us."
And safe she was.

He is grateful for his human family (his third home in his lifetime) because the old man has been training dogs for decades and knew just how to deal with him, using sounds but also touch in order to train Wishbone and get him used to living in a home rather than a kennel, where he started out his life. The elderly woman has taken to spending a lot of time in bed lately, and Wishbone has been with her all along, encouraging her to get up and go for walks with him and care for him. Although his people are old and don't always match his energy level, Wishbone is grateful for everything that they do for him and couldn't imagine a better place to spend his life.
