The Soul Seeker

Gryme was a soul seeker. It was an extremely rare thing to be... you see, he made it up.
But, it was technically what he was doing under a cooler title, so he opted to call himself that. Perhaps one day he would be known world wide as such. Well, as worldwide as you can get in the situation the world was currently in.
Sighing as he stood up, Gryme tilted his head to the side, cracking the bones in his neck for some relief, and surveyed the area. He was standing on the top of a large, fallen skyscraper - giving him a perfect viewpoint of the entire area. It was pretty empty in this place, lush greenery beginning to sprout up through the otherwise barren lands. It was never long until nature came back, thankfully.
Gryme leans back, and when he turns forward again there is something clasped in his paws. It's a radio! He sits back where he was and picks up a notebook as well, both clasped in his paws as he eagerly turns on the radio and starts tuning it to the area. He wasn't sure what he'd find here, but he was hoping it would be a ghost that went by the name of Alf.
As he switched through the channels, listening to static after static, he blew out a small huff of air- and almost missed it. An eerily quiet station, 000.0. He held his breath as if waiting in anticipation... and then a voice came through. It was.. creaky, like a door, but raspy like that strange scraping in the walls.
"Grymeee.... is your... name?" The ghast whispered through the radio, chuckling at him.
"Alf knows the way, Gryme..... find Alf... and you find your sanctuary..." It chuckles again, every breath sounding laboured. "Head east, and seek him out."
With it's last word, music started playing through the radio - the channel had changed and the ghost was gone.
Gryme would head east from here, more trusting of his ghostly companions than the other charmings scattered across the deserted wilderness. He had learned his lesson about trusting other charmings when he lost his leg... good thing he knew how to craft well enough to replace it.

★ Hellfire grew up somewhere in the
deep forests of Poland with her mother,
on the run from some unknown power
who was after her mother. She was
stripped of her name and any real
memory of her past other than that.
Although, memories will sometimes
seep through her dreams at night,
waking her in a cold sweat of fear
and pain. Dreams of a small child who
was kidnapped and shoved in an
orphanage. Hellfire doesn't trust
technology anymore, as far as she
knows it was the very thing that
betrayed her and her mother.
The only thing she has left is her
charm, a radio that frequents in
emptied Poland lines out in the wilds,
hoping maybe her mother is still out there
and she'll answer.

Prompt : Cassius Was just a cub when it all started, Cassius was a cub in a family in one of the citys that had a up bringing of tech. The city was incased by mountains and rocks, the only way out was a railway that took people in, And took people out. Cassius enjoyed the simple life they had, getting up, going to school, coming back home but Cassius's father was never around, Cassius's mother was the one that took care of them. But thats because Cassius's father was a very smart man, a scientist at one of the military bases within SightsCity, things had advanced well, medical issues where easier to take care of, they started getting used to all the new techy things around, but one day, something.. Happened, in a "Flash" Everything went to hell, there was no warning, people only had so much time to hide, the government caused something horrible, a nuclear blast, one of the reactors in West Wall Base 3A went off, not only causing reactor 2 to go off, but prematurely launched two of the nukes, one hitting another state, causing a war, a nuclear war war to be exact, the government thought it was someone else who had done it. 'After The Flash' Happened everything changed, Cassius's Father did not survive but Cassius's mother did. After the 7 hour war ended his mother and him went off, little towns among the abandoned places started being formed, very primitive compared to what it once was, but still kind of techy, the most advanced thing they had where radio's, and radio stations, Cassius took an interested in them, Cassius started building them even, Cassius after becoming old enough set off to be the next radio announcer of SightsCity's radio station, Cassius did not find the scavenger life very nice, so why not be a holder of the news and weather, and advertise for businesses and such? Cassius would love that, would be Cassius's lifelong dream, so Cassius has set out to do so. After a long time training for it though, figuring out how to get info fast and how to have a good composure Cassius was surely fit for the job! Cassius now being the new announcer and broadcaster, advertiser? Yeah, He did it, And Cassius will be the New voice you hear while walking through the newly named FlashCity!

After some time of working as the radio announcer of FlashCity, Cassius had found a friend in someone, they where quite the person. They where a scrapper and builder, Cassius had lost a leg during the Flash event, but his mother never could do much for him, being why he did not wanna be a scavenger, He simply could not do it. So announcing on the radio was the best thing he could do, so after asking his new found best scrapyard friend, they built a leg for him formed from his favorite type of radio, a Ham radio! He loved it, he could never ask for anything better, it was the best present he had ever gotten, now forever grateful.

Griswold was born in a hard time. The city was in ruins, buildings were crumbling, lights only worked at night, running water worked when it wanted to. At night neon lights up the streets, illuminating the dark, wet streets. Stalled lined the alleyways of the abandoned buildings. When the sun sleeps the Black Market awakens. This is where you can find anything and everything your heart desires. This is also where Griswold thrives. His parent’s disappeared one night, leaving Griswold to fend for himself in this awful city. Living on his own took its toll on Gris, at a young age Griswold was in an accident and lost his leg. This was when his love for scrap metal and wires began. Griswold couldn’t survive there with a missing leg and so he began to collect metals and built himself a mechanical leg. After building his leg he became fascinated with Metals and began collecting scrap metals. He takes his collected metals and builds things to sell on the market. It’s not the greatest way to live and it can be rather dangerous but Gris knows nothing else and gets by with the hand he’s been dealt.

Prompt : Houli was always a fan of alternative style and music, singing out cheesy and overdone lyrics to a crackling radio with the confidence only a child can muster. Houli's dreams never strayed further from the next rave or concert, wearing glowsticks at every chance xe could. Houli managed to amass an impressive amount of patches and stickers regarding xer favourite bands, even when a new album had just been released. It took some serious convincing from xer parents to not attempt to decorate xer metal leg as well as everything else xer'd already "blessed".

Xe had first set xer sights in becoming a rockstar or rising to be the "ruler of the roost" in a ruined world should it ever arrive(as a backup plan. For the apocalypse?) then surprisingly, xe landed on tower climbing. A few years of switching sites under xer belt had Houli return to the musical scene, testing out the ropes as a DJ. Xe may not be wildly famous or a rugged bandit living it out in the apocalyptic wasteland like xer younger self had once imaged but Houli quite enjoys the quieter life. Climbing towers may have been the closest xe could've gotten to living out the wild and free life, but at least Houli can have a normal sleeping pattern now.
