Prompt Response: Borgata's strength and dexterity have both improved dramatically ever since he got a parasite, and the longer his parasite stays in place and grows along with him, the stronger and more dexterous he becomes. He is not sure yet what the limit will be or when these improvements will cease because it is still very early on, but this is a welcome change for him and one he is happy about seeing through to its completion at the apex of his powers.
When Borgata was just a little youngling, he wasn't anything super powerful or strong, in fact he was a good bit weaker than some of the other Chicoons and he used to become tired out pretty easily. When the others were racing around and wrestling to establish a pecking order, he would join in a little bit for the fun of it and the social aspect but would quickly become tired out and go retreat to the natural hotsprings so that he could rest in the hot bubbling water and regain his vigor and energy.
Nowadays he has a parasite so the other Chicoons from the encampment are still not ready or willing to make physical contact with him and there is no wrestling to be done at this point in time, but just from his adventuring along he can feel the increased power. Before he used to struggle to climb a tree and would often get stuck on a low branch or else slide his way down to the bottom (one time he actually fell, and that was rather unfortunate but gratefully did not happen again as he learned to grip harder and the parasite helped him with his grip).
These days he can climb a tree from bottom to top, no problem at all and it happens quite easily. Once there he is even able to leap to neighboring trees and has the dexterity to grip them either with his paw or with his tail, and in this way swing from one branch to another. The other Chicoons have joked around and started calling him Tarzan because of this habit, but he has really found some amazing things high up in trees with not the least of them being all kinds of tasty and delicious fruits that he delights in and loves to eat! There have also been feathers to decorate with and also bird eggs, which can be delicious but one day he wants to try and put one into a nest, sit on it for warmth and see if he might be able to hatch it and get a pet bird. The parasite doubts this will work, and its derision echoes in his mind, but that won't stop him from attempting. He justifies it by saying the parasite lived all of its life in a cave before it met him, what could it know of the outside world? Probably not too much.
Borgata is constantly testing the capabilities he has developed and pushing himself to his limit. He's tried seeing how long he can stay underwater (his time is improving there, but much more slowly, and this might just be a result of progressively stronger lung capacity aka practice), and also feels that his vision has gotten a bit better. But now that his paws and tail are more dextrous what he would like to do is begin some crafting and start creating things. He's been weaving bird feathers together to make clothing of sorts, a headdress for Aztec and a pair of cute little wings for Firefly, and they love these gifts, it's really bringing him closer to the community. Everything about Borgata has been getting better since the parasite came around and it was most unexpected but it's a welcome change. Now the Chicoons at the encampment are starting to give him gentle, tentative pats on the back or they will bump noses with him in a friendly way and he so welcomes the contact.
He often touches his parasite with his nose or paw and tells them, "Look, I will come back here tomorrow and he will still be on my tail and only my tail. See? He doesn't move, he doesn't spread, you guys don't have anything to worry about."
To which they simply reply, "We are still learning, we don't know too much about this, and we're not going to take unnecessary risks. Let us be cautious, and take our time, for nothing good comes from rushing and in due time you will see that all is well."
