Prompt: Ducky looks blankly at the yelling gummy in the tree. Not a thought behind his eyes this one. He did pick up the words "red" though. He promptly shuffles away to look out for a new hat, or I guess and ld lost one. It seems to take him longer this time, but the wide-eyed chicoon emerges from a bush covered in twigs and leaves holding a....fireman's hat? IS there a fie station in the candy kingdom. Your not sure how he got it. In fact it's probably stolen, but nonetheless he drops it in front of the little gummy.

Prompt: "A haunted cornfield?" Both Luncbox and Bucket peep. Bucket looks nervous but his brother nudges him. "Come on fraidy chicoon!" Lunchbox runs off ahead straight into the entrance of the maze. Bucket whines out "Hey, w-wait for me!" He shuffles quickly after his twin, entirely nervous. He gets lost immediately. "H-hey lunchbox?" he squeaks out as loud as he can. He hears a shuffle in the maze before, "BOO!" Bucket trips and falls to his feet as his sibling jumps on top of him, grabbing and tugging on his ear. "Hey stop that! You really scared me!" Lunxhbox giggles "Dont worry I'll protect you from here!"

Quest Prompt: Dagger stops his ranting and looks thoroughly confused as the little candy gummy cries at him. He just stares blankly as it runs off in a hurry away from the chicoon, titling his head. "Did I do something wrong?" He asks the other candy who is pointing ahead. It doesn't seem to answer only point. Dagger feels a bit bad for scaring the little guy but follows his gaze where the other gummy gestured. His eye's grow wide as he find himself looking up to a large and quite long gummy worm, very clearly wearing an actual king's crown. He rubs his head bashfully, "Haha oops I guess I did have the wrong guy. There was no way he'd be king oops." Shaking off his embarrassment, Dagger bounds over to the ACTUAL king this time. Looking quite minuscule compared to him. He didnt know gummy worms could grow so big. "AH Sorry for the commotion your highness!" He gives a small salute and tries to stand straight. "Pickleberry sent me to report!" he called up to the giant. "I'm investigating the blood bags! We could have VAMAPIRES!!" HE tried to tone down his excitement this time as to not annoy the king. "It could be REAL dangerous for the citizens! We have to hunt him? it? down!"

Prompt: Honeydew took a big gulp as they sat ready to go to the Haunted house. They were dressed in a garish, neon outfit with leopard print spots on it. The outfit was kind of of a onesie shaped like a leopard. The colors on it were purple, pink, yellow, orange and white. They told a few chicoons who asked that they were dressed as the leopard from chicoonsa frank merchandise. They were unbelievably nervous about the haunted house. They held their pumpkin from the pumpkin patch close as they followed the collection of chicoons to the haunted cornfield.

Prompt: Mercury raced around the gummy kingdom until he eventually found a red baseball cap that had two white faux fur ears on them, two white buttons in the center and a little mouth embroidered on under a felt nose. The hat looked like a red panda. He grabbed the cap with his maws before bounding back to the tree to help the gummy down and ask if the panda cap was their's.

Prompt: Mercury is a rather large chicoon so he doesn't get too scared of things. He's use to whelps and other small chicoons hiding under him for protection and he doesn't mind it really. He just chucks at the other chicoons trying to scare them, thinking their costumes look funny.

Prompt: Neviah was starting to believe that this gummy citizen just wanted a collection of hats! But nevertheless, she complied with his demands once again. This time she brought him a tiny red hat - perfectly sized for his little gummy head. There were no distinguishing features... it was just purely red. She approached him, placed it on his head, and wished him well.

Neviah stares at pickleberry for a moment, before slowly beginning to nod her head.
"I mean... I'm not a detective or anything so I can't promise I'll find anything, but I can definitely have a look around- maybe I'll spot our.. mystery citizen"
She began to walk off, then stopped and returned to pickleberry to quickly inspect one of the bags she had given him. She checked to see if there were any labels that might give her a clue as to where the mystery citizen could be found. After finding nothing she sighed and continued on her way, heading down to go ask doom if he knew anything- he was in the blood bag making business anyways, so maybe he was colleagues or enemies with this particular person? She questioned Doom a little until she was satisfied, then walked back towards the middle of the town, looking around for any hints of "blood", and asking around if anybody knew anything about the blood bags being produced. Every response she got seemed to be different, which ultimately ended up confusing her even more. After a while she finally got a yes, and went to investigate the location she was told about. Not finding much, she brought this information back to Pickleberry.
"I didn't personally see anything, but a gummy citizen claimed the blood bags were coming from a newer building not far down the road."

Ines Climbs up and ends up realizing far too late that the hat that he had found was... small. Too small. The top hat, red as could be, fit all of the boxes in Ines head, except for size. It was far too smll to be a comfortable fit, but it could at least rest on the gummy citizen's head. Maybe it belonged to an action figure that someone dropped in the chaos...

Typically the scariest thing that happens in a haunted house for Buck is that his horns or tail get caught in a doorway and he has to wait for the plague doctor two rooms down to get him unstuck so that everyone can pass...

Prompt:

Helping the little gummy citizen down from the tree, Sakura is pleased to finally have some direction as to what this hat might actually look like. She takes a lap around the area, looking for a missing red hat, but instead finds a recovering community struggling to rebuild in the aftermath of the attack. The damage to the kingdom is getting worse and worse by the day. Large plumes of smoke rise from burning rubble piles as citizens help each other remove broken building pieces and repair with large planks of wood. Sakura stops to help comfort a small child who found their toy broken in a pile of bricks. She gently wraps a scrap of cloth on the dolls' arm to match it's owner's. The little child sniffs a thank you and gives Sakura a ribbon in return. Moving on, she comes across a pile of discarded clothes, some are torn while others are singed or stained. She decides to sift through the collection and see if there is a red hat inside. After a couple minutes of search, she does come up with a bright red cowboy hat with white leather trim. Its a little big for the gummy citizen, but Sakura is able to tie the ribbon onto the hat. Returning to the tree where the gummy citizen is waiting, she diligently presents the red hat and ribbon to them.

Sakura is by no means a "scarer", she is quite timid and easily spooked herself. Though there was this one time on a field trip to a thick wooded area where she approached a group of chicoons to show them this really cool insect she found and they all ran screaming. She was quite confused what was so scary about the little beetle she had when she realized that she was covered in spiderwebs, sticks, and leaves from tromping though the forest in search of fun things. They must have thought she was some sort of cryptid or something!

Prompt:

The little gummy worm had been hiding in a tree while the kingdom was under attack. Borgata is starting to feel bad for the critter, living in a place where nothing is certain and you can't always depend on your own safety. He wants to rescue the little gummy worm and take it home with him, but this is where it belongs and so instead Borgata goes back to helping him find hats.

This time it's a red hat, and Borgata finds one that is just absolutely perfect. It's a snapback with an adjustable fit, could be worn by a number of individuals if they just adjust it to the size of their head and it will hold on well. The brim is flat, and it has an image of Jumpman on it, meaning that this hat is actually an Air Jordans brand hat, something rather expensive and quite collectible.

After all of their delicious snacks and drinks at Chibucks it is time to go back onto the wagon and continue the hayride. Borgata wraps his long tongue around a rice crispy treat and brings it along with him for the ride, chewing thoughtfully. The marshmallow in these things are delicious!

When they arrive at the cornfield, Borgata leaves his pumpkin in the wagon so it won't get lost and his paws are free. It's a haunted cornfield where all the Chicoons are dressed up and ready to scare or be scared in this haunted walk. Borgata starts walking through and Chicoons jump out at him, yelling "Roar!" Some of them are dressed as monsters and werewolves and pirates, and Borgata wants so badly to join in the fun!

Once he realizes that it's not real and he's totally safe, he starts hiding behind the cornstalks and jumping out to scare others passing through! He isn't an official scarer but he likes this unofficial business and it's a way for him to have fun and feel included even if he wasn't originally part of the show, so to speak.

Quest Prompt:

Pickleberry's eyes get so wide they look like they could almost fall out of his head. He is startled that there's someone here who doesn't have a tail, and knows this is suspicious and a bad omen for the gummy kingdom. He tells Borgata to stay hold down the fort while he investigates.

It is lunch time and the injured gummies are all sitting around in the canteen area. Some of them have a bite taken out, or are missing part of their gummy bodies. Other ones have been bitten at both ends and Borgata isn't quite sure how much they can be helped at that point, but the nurses and others helping out (volunteers, mostly) are all doing whatever they can to keep those gummies alive and make them more comfortable.

Borgata chats with a gummy who is holding a bag of gummy blood, with a tube pumping the candy directly into their body. He asks who did this. The gummy replies, "It was a man! They call themselves humans! Horrid, ghastly beings. Their eyes are shiny and they lick their lips when they look at us. They are ravenous beasts, always hungry and never full. They will eat the whole kingdom if they aren't stopped in time!!"
