Prompt Response: My Chicoon’s name is Tarot, and she is named after a deck of tarot cards. I feel like this will fit her aesthetically because I am hoping to give her a “witchy” design. Tarot does like her name but sometimes wishes it was a bit more creative. On the other hand, her parasite, who is situated on her backside and acts like a tail, is named Binx. There is some debate on what Binx means. Some say it means “god’s gift” and others say, “the unknown.” Whatever the true meaning is, Binx is pleased with its name, especially after finding out it is a popular name among black cats.

My chicoon will be named Akira. I happen to be really fond of that name and i think it will fit the design i have in mind for them.
The parasites name is Machine. After becoming a host for the parasite and starting to communicate with it, Akira learned the parasite previously had no name and so they gave the parasite the name Machine.
If asked about this name choice, Akira will say they gave the parasite that name because machine means several parts working together, something Akira had sort of become after choosing to host this parasite. So in symbolism of their relationship, Akira named them Machine.

Bestowing the name Kureru onto my chicoon seems to fit them and what I am hoping to achieve with their design. Their name means “To get dark” in Japanese. That part already shows when you look at them in the eyes. I feel the red pupil brings that across against the black iris. Which makes it perfect.

Kureru honestly likes his name. He likes how the meaning makes him seem intimidating. Which he does have a bit of a temper and it can turn out to be scary at times. This brings me to the parasite attached to him. Once it latched onto his arm, Kureru did tussle with it to try and get it off, but when they spoke to him telling him why they attached onto him, he calmed down. I never figured out what the parasite told him and I feel Kureru will tell me himself in time. But he has named them Yami, which means “Darkness” and is a unisex name, since the parasite told him they have no means to identify with a gender.

I do not currently have a design in mind for my chicoon, but I feel like these names will match whatever is stirring around in my brain at the moment. I vaguely envision a soft warrior type who's.. adopted? the parasite... kind of like Eddie did with venom.
I imagine that they had a very rough relationship at the beginning but after Ecto helped Vesta out with some stuff here and there, she began to like Ecto a bit more and they became... friends? or even just acquaintances. I hope to develop their story as I go (:

This chicoon's name is Adynn. His name means beauty and pleasure giver. He often seeks out friends and family to take on adventures with him and has had a giving nature since he first hatched.

His name that meant beauty held up true for the most part until the parasite came along. It had been dubbed "The taker" by most. Having taken away Adynn's untouched beauty away from him without so much as a warning.

Though, he found he didn't mind so much after a while and had even given the parasite a new name after learning that it was not necessary harmful. It's name was Aysel.
