indentThey wandered into the woods in search of a pokemon that could even help them get the sugar, which based on what Auntie had shared would probably be a mimikyu. Aggraligatr had no concept of how to even begin their search but they wandered the haunted woods for hours on end. Any pokemon they saw they tried to ask for some vague guidance towards where a mimikyu would be to mixed results. There were some pokemon that ran away in terror, others gave something vague and unhelpful, but as evening began creeping into the woods a ghost pokemon actually gave them a solid lead. Finding the cavern the mimikyu supposedly lived in wasn't the most difficult, but when they saw the empty pikachu costume a chill went up their spine and everything went black. They woke up on the floor in the dead of night hours later with a large stone bowl full of sugar and a little note with a messy apology scrawled on it. They picked up the bowl shaking their head and started their way bac towards Auntie's while trying to remember anything that had happened during this entire trip.

Red was very good with baskets, and even though he already had one basket, he took the second rental basket from Mr.Drampa in order to help with his apple collecting. The task itself ended up being a little difficult, considering that the apples were in trees, and Red was very much stuck on the ground. Well, at least him learning how to climb would be coming in handy. He made sure to be careful, not exactly for his own safety, but so that the baskets, both of them, would be unharmed and the apples wouldn't be bruised. When he came back to the door, he had two full baskets of apples, offering the basket that had been given to him back to Drampa.

"Oh ho ho! There was no need to grab this many, young one!" Drampa have a hearty laugh but happily took the basket, seeming to put apples away as soon as he got it. "Well, I already have my basket, it only seemed fair that I got you well- a little bit more than one." Red explained, and then watched as Drampa gave him the basket again, not emptied. "Well, young man, you enjoy your apples, and for going above and beyond, take the basket as well! I've got plenty, don't you worry." Red's smile beamed. "Oh! Thank you so much, Mr.Drampa, have a great rest of your day!"

Choice of Ingredient(s): Curled Bean Pod Paste

Basilisk is thankful for his small size and unimpressive weight as he moves from branch to branch through the Curled Bean trees, holding his breath as he lands next to swarm of Burmy after swarm of Burmy. As he approaches the end of a branch, shuffling along awkwardly as the wood waves under his motions, his eyes can't decide whether to focus on the Curled Bean Pods at the end or the four Burmys sleeping calmly that he may or may not be waking up within the next few seconds.

"Come on, come on," he hisses under his breath, only a few steps away now. Bass reaches it and releases a heavy sigh, relieved that that's over now. Then, he goes to pluck the bean. It doesn't come loose. Okay, that's fine, he thinks. I'll just try again.

Bass tugs it once or twice with minimal effort because any stronger and he'll rattle the entire branch and wake up all these Burmys, which is a total nightmare. Alright, pulling weakly isn't going to work. He tries his second method, gnawing away at the stem where it attaches to the tree, but he's working with a beak of average sharpness, so that doesn't do anything either, even after he spends what feels like ten minutes just sitting there and chewing.

With a flex of his wings, one deep breath, and a prayer to all that is holy, Basilisk grabs the Curled Bean Pod by the stem and jerks back as hard as he can, successfully plucking it from the branch. In a frenzy, he grabs two more as he sees the Burmys begin to wake and locate the Pokemon responsible for disturbing their rest.

Frantically, Bass throws himself off of the branch, spreading his wings and darting away as quickly as he can, internally screaming as suddenly the forest becomes alive with hundreds of beady yellow eyes. If he dodges a tendril or twenty on his way out, no one has to know. He got the bean pods with no hassle. That sounds like a good story.

alfie headed over to its best friends drampa's house. well, alfie was pretty sure that they were best friends, or how else would alfie have known that drampa was the owner of an orchard of the most delicious apples in the world? xe needed this fruit for the pie xe was making.

scurrying over there, alfie knocked on the door by banging his head on the door. from that point on, alfie recieved a basket, was instructed to pick a few extra apples for the drampa, and then was sent on his way. upon reaching the orchard, there were so many apples on the apple trees that the branches sagged and almost touched the ground. alfie was very grateful for this, or else he would've had to exercise his amazing and perfect climbing skills due to xer not so tall height; the wurmple wasn't in the mood for this.

after only about ten minutes, alfie was all done picking the apples. he left a few on the porch for the drampa, and he next headed off for home in order to wait for evening in order to get second ingredient he wanted to get that day.

after taking a rather long nap, alfie woke up to the sight of the sun setting. it was the perfect time to go out and find some volbeat shimmer for the pie.

as it got darker, it didn't take long for alfie to find a group of volbeat throwing their shimmer into a nearby lake. before collecting any, the wurmple decided to sit and watch the show for a little while. as alfie is unable to fly, one of the few things it can't do, it was a very awe-inspiring show. the way the shimmer just floated through the air, glowing as bright as the sun, and then immediately dispersing in the dark water was absolutely beautiful.

after a little while, alfie got back on task. he needed this ingredient, or else his pie wouldn't most likely glow like he wanted it too. using the same basket from earlier, alfie placed it gently in the water, making sure it wouldn't float away. as the volbeat threw the shimmer, occasionally some would fall into the basket. as it was night, and alfie needs its beauty sleep, the wurmple fell asleep.

in the morning, a decent amount of volbeat shimmer had fallen into the container. satisfied, the wurmple scurried home with the new ingredient to add it to the others.

Uno's eyes lit up as he hear the world; Apples. "Mom! We gotta get apples for our pie!! Blossom loves apples!" He turned to his mother, excited as could be.
Fruity softly laughed. "Dollie also loves apples just like Blossom, let's go pick some apples then~" she replied, luckily Drampa's place was easy to find.
Uno knocked on the door and a Drampa answered. "H-Hello..." A head poked out of the door, slowly blinking at the small eevee. "How can I help you sweetie?"
"Auntie said we can pick apples here!! Can we??" Uno asked, tilting his head.
"Oh!" The Drampa's head suddenly went back in and popped out with a bag a second later. "Here you go... I just ask that you pick one apple for me and bring it back here~"
Uno grinned, nodding. "Okay!! We'll be right back!" He bounded off, his mother slowly following behind him. "Apples...Apples...." He sang as he picked apples.
The son and mother soon made it back to Drampa's place and knocked on the door again, handing the Drampa an apple before heading back to Auntie's with the rest of the apples in tow.

Prompt(s): Oh how perfect, just perfect! Apple pie is just the right flavour for all of Bav's other ingredients. Savory, sweet, wonderfully delicious. Not to mention how apples are the team leader's's favourite fruit. It's not hard to see why! The crunch of the apple will bake great. It's an autumn classic right there with sitrus berry pie.

Bav stows away his travel gear and map at home before getting a good night's sleep to prepare for apple picking the next day. Before the sun even rises he gets ready and high tail's it over to Drampa's house. The dragon is rather bleary eyed when he answered the door. He didn't expect anyone that enthusiastic to harvest apples so early in the morning, but shows Bav the apple trees anyways.

While Drampa gets a few more minutes of shut eye, Bav collects up the apples that he can reach and piles them into the baskets. Drampa springs out of his house, ready to give Bav a boost to collect the apples at the tops of the trees. They must be the sweeter ones since they get so much light and nutrients!

"Excellent work! You really gave a run for my money with how much you collected today!" Drampa laughed cheerily and presented Bav a basket of apples. Then he was off to bake some pie!

Bake!:

All the ingredients in place, it was time to prepare and then bake the pie with Auntie. The family began by buttering a mold, and putting a beautiful and delicious paw generously offered by Auntie. After that, they started removing the pits and stems from the Cherubi cherries, and Pancake couldn't help scolding his mum who ate a few cherries along the way. Oops, leave it for the pie, don't eat all Sushi!
Then they added cramberries to the mix. This time it was Patacrêpe's turn to eat some. These fruits are less sweet than cherries, which was perfect for him. Nevertheless, less greedy than Sushi, the pie could receive enough. Phew!
To these cherries and cramberries, Daryl and Pancake added Gracidea flower powder and sattreon dye. Just with this addition, the pie turned red and gold, and began to give off delicious smells that made the mouths of the two children water, who wanted to taste it too, but said to themselves that it was badly seen after bother the parents before that. Too bad, we will have to wait! But Pancake couldn't help but regret having bothered his mother. On the other hand, Daryl tells her that they did well, because Sushi almost devoured all the Cherubi cherries, and without those cherries, there would have been no pie! Ultimately, it's a blessing in disguise.


While Pancake and Daryl were smelling the pie and couldn't help but imagine what it would look like when baked, Patacrêpe and Sushi were figuring out how to cook it. They were the adults, so it was up to them.
They looked around, and saw a few fire pokemon using a good old Flamethrower attack, some successfully, some too hard, which caused the pie to burn. Clearly that wasn't a good idea, and either adult didn't know of a fire-type attack anyway, so it'll have to be done otherwise. After thinking for a long time, they realized that the only known and feasible method for them was to ask Auntie to borrow an oven. So that's what they did! Sushi gently took the dish of pie in his hands, while his companion opened the oven. Then, she put the pie in the oven, before closing it and turning it on, or rather, starting the cooking, because Auntie had been kind enough to preheat the oven for them. Now the pie was in the oven for baking. It remains to be seen what happens...

“APPLES! Apples,” Fantasia cut off Auntie Appletun’s sentence in excitement. “Apple, oh apple pie is so so good, apple pie—”
They, Fantasia, spent a few minutes gawking on his absolute love for apple pie, dancing and twirling around like a tipsy ballerina.

The appletun looked at them in dismay. “He must… really like apple pie, the dearie.”
“Oh, yah they do,” Mako agreed. “I take it he’ll head out and come back with apples for the pie in 30 seconds tops.”

Fantasia dashed out the door like a mad pokémon. He left when the sky was a pastel blue with a brush of pink.
When he came back with a basket of apples balanced on his back, you could still see pink on the horizon.

“You’re back already!” Auntie exclaimed. “How did you get the apples so quickly…?”
Fantasia set down the basket. All he said was, “I think apples can put a hypnosis on me.”

Siren stepped into Aunties cottage, hearing the kind Pokemon humming away to herself. She turned as he approached and offered her usual kind smile.

"Good morning Auntie, I um, think I'm ready to bake my pie today" Siren offered all while writing his paws together, he'd never baked before and what if something ended up going wrong?!

Auntie A spoke softly to the poor frazzled Ghost, gently reassuring him that it would be fine and she'd be there if he needed her. Siren breathed in deeply several times before grabbing his ingredients and the recipe. How hard could making a pie actually be? Not that hard, right?

The easiest place to start he supposed was the pie crust, so that's where he'd start. Cubing the butter so it could be rubbed into the flour sounded ok and his claws would easily be able to cut through the softness of the cold fat. With a few quick flicks of his long claws, Siren chopped the butter into cubes and after measuring out the flour and sugar into the large bowl provided? The ghost tossed a bit of salt in and after mixing the dry stuff dumped the butter into the white powder and began rubbing the butter and dry ingredients together.

He made sure to leave a few fair-sized chunks as the recipe mentioned that would make the crust the type of flaky the perfect pie crust would need. An egg was apparently the next thing he needed for the dough so after a few near misses Siren managed to crack the egg. Without letting any eggshell drop into the bowl which the Zoruark felt was a decent achievement! Siren grabbed the fork he'd used earlier and began mixing, he panicked slightly when the dough looked as though it wasn't going to come together.

He supposed he had to chill the dough next but, did auntie have a fridge or something he could use? Siren hoped so or this process was going to be a waste. Luckily he spotted what looked to be a makeshift fridge and after wrapping the dough up gently sat it on one of the shelves.

The wood would be used for the stove and the smoke would infuse the pie somehow, Siren assumed. The other stuff would most likely be tossed in the pan in order to be turned into the filling. Though he'd need to really prep that pumpkin so he supposed he could put the wood in at a low burn while he fetched the pumpkin.

Siren nodded to himself that sounded like a decent plan. He was thankful that he'd listened to Auntie and prepared the pumpkin in advance. Dumping it into the pan he tossed in the chopped berry and Sattreon as well, fanning the flames so the wood would start smoking more. The pie crust was retrieved from the fridge and neatly pressed into the pan before he dumped the cooked filling in. Dotting it with some spare butter he saved earlier.

He then proceeded to gently place the crust lid on, cutting two holes in the middle for steam to escape. He gently brushed the pie with what the recipe called an eggwash before opening the door to the part of the stove where you could place things to cook. It was easy to gently slide the tin into what he supposed was an oven. Siren was unsure if that was what it was. But it looked like it would cook the pie all the same.

It was a waiting game now, the pie would cook and then the results would hopefully be ok.
