Rylee had finally got the Raticate Claw he needed to finish the pie, and he began to bake.
The raticate claw smelt wonderful, and he wanted to just eat it raw. But he knew he couldn't do that as he still had a pie to bake!
He used a mortar and pestle to ground up all the spices, which made a satisfying noise as he crushed all the spices separately.
He added milk and eggs (which is needed for every cake, Ashen had lectured him about that a year ago). He mixed the wet ingredients and the dry ingredients on Auntie Appletun's counter.
He sat there for a moment, debating what came next to make the best cake. The beautiful smell of all the ingredients came to him and made it harder to think over it's wonderous
aroma.
Right, mix the two different ingredients together, he thought to himself as he lifted the dry ingredients and poured them in.
He mixed and mixed until his arms hurt and he wanted to just give up entirely.
Eventually his arms felt better and he continued to mix until it became "The correct consistency.!" as Auntie Appletun said.
The correct consistency looked somewhat like that packets that trainers would use to bake cakes. Auntie Appletun approved of the texture so now it was time to bake.
However when Rylee went to go turn on the oven to pre-heat he realized it was broken! Auntie Appletun tried to apologize but Rylee simply asked if she had a steel proper for him, or something similar.
Auntie Appletun pointed to a shed and said that the fire pokemon who lived there always cooked their food with their moves.
Rylee was finally able to get the material he needed and stepped outside her abode with his pie, where the strange structure sat which he got from the neighbor who was currently scaring kids.
Rylee squeezed underneath the structure, which looked somewhat like a table frame.
He aimed his jaw towards the bottom of the pie dish, beginning to open his mouth as Auntie Appletun counted down.
He would need to use his hardest move for 5 minutes in order for it to cook evenly and correctly.
Auntie Appletun hit 0, Rylee sent off his fire attack at the pie dish.
At 2.5 minutes it was hard to keep the fire attack at the right temperature and right velocity.
Finally 5 minutes hit and Auntie Appletun yelped "Quit!"
Rylee slumped to the floor, his best pie he could make was finished, and he was proud.
