Prompt Answer; Currant received a delivery order to a remote location he wasn't too familiar with outside of town one October evening, and didn't think much of it at the time. That is, till he strolled over there and realized that the address he was given was to an abandoned hospital...?
He texted the number attached to the order, and the mysterious recipient confirmed this was the right place and invited him inside to find them.
At this point he began to wonder if the person was just messing with him, but as he headed inside, he definitely saw signs that someone had been here recently.
Wandering the dim halls of the defunct building, he started to think maybe they were luring him into some kind of trap - until he rounded the corner and came face-to-face with a pair of young adults with camera equipment whom were promptly scared half to death by the unexpected company.
As it turns out, they hadn't made any order - they were here to explore and film an urbex documentary for their website, and thought they'd been hearing a ghost roaming the halls.
After hearing Currant's explanation for why he was there, it didn't take them long to come to the conclusion that their younger sibling was behind the prank - this wasn't the first time they'd been set up to get jumpscared, and they were sure it wouldn't be the last.
Since they didn't have any cash on hand, they invited him to hang out and share the food while they finished their exploration, and he agreed happily.
While deception led him there, at least he got to go on a fun little adventure as a result!

Prompt Answer; The question surprised Autumn. A hint of a small frown appeared on her face as memories she tried very hard to forget returned to the forefront of her mind.


It was before Autumn had found her home in the colony. She had been living with a bunch of other storkatten in a different area, and being a very young storkatten, she had yet to learn to control her magic. One of the older storkatten, though he was still rather young himself, had offered to help her learn. What Autumn didn't realize, however, was that he actually had no idea how controlling fire magic worked, and was trying to play a prank on her.

Unfortunately, the prank backfired when Autumn, using the made up tips and advice he gave her, accidentally started a large fire. Despite her best efforts to put it out, she was unable to do so because she had no idea how to actually control her magic. Of course, her 'mentor' ran off as soon as he saw the fire was uncontrollable, leaving Autumn to deal with the aftermath by herself. She was kicked out of the group, who now believed her to be too dangerous to keep around.


"A time I was deceived? Now why would you want to hear about something like that?" Autumn asked, hoping Haisha would not press on the matter.

"Well I know a tale of deception, if you become too scared to share one." Haisha says with a grin, flipping the cards for himself as he speaks. "I saw a young Kotopip today, walking from the duck booth and being excited to see the rest of the festivities. A horribly devious individual came up to them, said that he knew the festival like the back of his claw." To Emphasize, he showed one of his clawed forepaws with a small laugh. "Turns out, sent him into the forest instead of to the digging booth, poor thing hasn't come back yet... A small deception really... let's hope it doesn't end up being fatal..." Haisha laughed again, looking at his own cards and then shuffling the tarot deck once again.
