Prompt:If Silas could he any other animal he'd be a penguin. He loves to swim, and he would spend all day in the water if he were able. Often you can find him sunbathing on rocks or small land masses within a body of water while he recollect himself between swimming sessions. When he's not swimming you can find him digging around the edge of the forest for rocks. He really loves rocks, collects them even, and he will give some of his favorite rocks to his friends to express and care and appreciation for them. He often has a small pouch with him that allows him to carry small hauls of rocks to and from places. His favorite rocks rotate in and out of the pouch as he believes having them with him gives him luck and keeps him safe.

They are incredibly patient... and also prefer to eat mice and other small rodents!

Prompt: Ranger would be a dog. He has always exuded optimistic energy, bounding away with his friends like he's a little puppy going on an adventure. His enthusiasm for gathering sticks also makes him seem very dog-like, ensuring the healer's den is well-stocked with sticks of various sizes, mostly for fun and for his own self-enjoyment of carrying the bundles in his mouth. Ranger's energy levels are often unmatched even by the younger cats in the clan. Even his dislike of taking baths seems to radiate in being a dog; all the other cats usually straying away from the muddier patches, while Ranger can be seen gleefully jumping into mud puddles and spending the remainder of his day with crusty paws, just for fun.

There aren't many in Hawkins, most having travelled to safer pasters, but the few packs that still hang around have always filled the young tom with a sense of wonder. He's not sure if it's the family dynamic that reminds him so much of his own clowder or perhaps the skill and ability they use to hunt down prey that draws him towards the larger animals, but ever since he first spotted one, he's always had a sense of kinship towards them.

Besides, Pondshine is a hopeless romantic and is very intrigued by the fact he could have a soul mate, a bond so strong it connects the pair even after one partner bids their farewell with the other usually passing on themselves not long after.
