The Lone Bashkir Curly horse is a very unique and set apart breed. They are well known for their curly coats, caused by many gene mutations, and their versatility. Lone Curly Horses are often found as chestnut, but have a wide variety of colors, some more rare than others. They range in height from 13-16 hands, but are often found between 14-15 hands. These horses are found wild in Nevada, USA. Although they are wild, they are also known for their calm and gentle nature. Lone Bashkir Curly Horses got their name due to them not staying in herds with other horses. Since they are always separated, they often wander far into owned land and cause disruptions. They have very much grown in population, causing problems and wreaking havoc, therefore creating the need for a relocation organization. The LBC Organization is running a rehoming program to protect these horses while still preserving them. If you're interested, keep an eye out for LBCs looking for a new place to call home!

Trick or treat!

Biting wind whips through skeletal branches as the bright pumpkin sun dips low over the horizon. The end of the year creeps closer, leaves fall and decay as the earth prepares for its long winter rest. The dark of the night gathers, and mischievous creatures come out to play. Many sightings of unusual looking Lone Bashkir Curlies appearing in the plains of the southwest have been reported, are you brave enough to find out if they are friend or foe?

Community Rules
➤ This event will run from Oct. 17 to Oct. 31.
➤ As always abide by all CS and LBC rules.
➤ Anyone is welcome to join us, new and old faces alike!
➤ Please be patient with our small staff crew; any guilting, complaining, or harassing staff will not be tolerated.
➤ Follow any rules set by staff members running booths, and again please be patient.
➤ Most importantly, have fun!

Artist Rules
➤ Refer to LBC Halloween Genetics document for gene details.
➤ If you make at least one free adopt for the community, you may make yourself a personal event custom (with only one rare or limited Halloween marking).
➤ Please update halters/judge comp winners in a timely manner. If you think you will not be able to do so, reach out to Pandora or Taxidea.
➤ One rare or limited Halloween marking per LBC. Friendly reminder that Easter and Valentine’s genes are in the rarity guide and can be used in adopts!

FsFs / Fsfs = Frankenstitches (c) - creates white lines with stitch marks. May occur anywhere on the body except the face. Two lines must always cross each other.

FbFb / Fbfb = Funny Bone (c) - creates a bone-shaped white marking or multiple markings on one to all limbs. Bone markings will not go past the shoulder or the stifle.

ZbZb / Zbzb = Zombie (uc) - a dilution that adds a green hue to the coat color. Will always have at least two areas where the non-diluted coat color has come through. 20-40% opacity #58a76e

CbCb / Cbcb = Cobweb (uc) - Creates a spider web marking over the rump. Recessive to appaloosa and will not display if it is present. Lp_ Cb_ will not display cobweb but lplp Cb_ will display

btzbtz / Btzbtz (carries) = Bats (r) - a recessive gene that creates a bat silhouette over the eyes.

eyey/ Eyey (carries) = Ghoul’s Eyes (l) - a recessive gene that creates at least one eye-shaped white marking anywhere on the body.
