Chicoons are a strange subclass of dragon, and although they are closely related to Amphithere as well as Western dragons, they are unlike either! Chicoon have long, flexible necks, a curly and stretchy tongue, floppy ears, a box-like head, wings on their head, and a flame that hovers by their tail.
Chicoon are Arboreal Fruigivores that stand roughly 4 feet in height. They have a high intelligence and can lean how to communicate with any animal, however lack the necessary vocal chords to speak any verbal language. They express emotions mainly through body language and the use of their head-wings, they have proven to be very friendly and generally enjoy the company of humans!

But crow... how were we supposed to know this?
Fun fact! I actually included, as accurate as I can make them while still being reasonable, diagrams of each in their corresponding color

additionally I paired them up following the dna rules, adenine always pairs with thymine (pink with green) and guanine always pairs with cytosine (purple with yellow) and then uracil is special and we ignore him for the sake of me aiming for simplicity

Fact; woodpecker tongues wrap around their skulls!
*editing to add that the reason their tongues wrap around their skulls is 1. they are very long and can be stored there when not extended and 2. to cushion the bird's brain when pecking/drumming!

Fact; Hippos sorta sweat an orange/red-is stuff that looks like blood, but it is not blood! It is some antibiotic acid that some glands produce to protect the hippo their skin from dirty waters and stuff!
It also comes out as clear fluid, but because of sun exposure it turns red/orange.
