Little something extra: “off we go!” honked montgomery as he led mystra down the right path. eventually, they walked into a large room, with a sand pit in the middle. “whoa, this is cool!” he said, in almost a shouting tone, but he was still whispering.

“woah... it's like a fountain but with sand. i wonder how it works?”

“me too! it’s weird… but neat, too!” montgomery looked around. “oh, a button!” he was enamored by the sight of a button - he was compelled to press it and figure out what it did. it had to do something, right? right?!?!

after receiving a nod of agreement from mystra, they both jumped down into the pit and pressed the button in unison.

hopefully their decision wouldn’t backfire..

Little something extra: Tristan grimaced, seeing the choices ahead. The pyramid was the obvious pick but... he also noted how all of the eyes were closed. All eyes closed, save the one where they were at. Before he can even stop himself, he grabs the doll with one hand, the other signing. "50 50 chance right? Let us just hope this little doll can show us the way!" He looks to it a moment, smiling gently. Please don't be cursed.

Little something extra: After Froge separates from Addy, walking down his new hallway and into the new room. He KNOWS you should never separate from the party, but sometimes you have to, to solve a puzzle. And not to mention not all of Froge's previous parties have been .... Cooperative... But he's not going to tell THEM that.

He looks around confused and a bit scared, a lot scared, feeling like this could go very wrong for him. He jumps from the sudden movement of the floor. When has sand in a room ever been a good thing?? Don't people get swallowed by the sand or fall into holes?? What if the hole starts to overflow?? This doesn't feel like a good thing... Froge however notices the button, sucking up all his courage and heading towards it, inspecting it, "...Maybe this button will show them?" He replies to Mystra and hopes that, that's all the button will do. But somehow he doubts it. He's been getting his tarots read lately.. And they haven't been in his favour..

He hopes for the best, hoping his cards are in his favour today, and presses the button, hoping its the right thing to do

"Dis will be my little buddy!" She disclaums
"Sir pringlton!" Addy outs the stuffy atop her head, ans beams brightly,
She gently looks around happily

Miles turned right down the pathway, glancing back over his shoulder at Mystra.
"Well, I do like mysteries so I suppose we can try to see how it ends"
He stopped as the hall widened to reveal the large open room. He took a couple steps in before surveying the room, noting the sand pit with the strangely blue tinted sand that gleamed and pulsed, leaving him confused and fascinated. He looked over the statues in each corner, then at the center pedestal, spotting the triangular button and lifting his paw to point at it.
"It looks like there's a button there- you see it? There's some sort of light inside that's dying.. Let me go see."
He cautiously moved towards the sand pit, stopping at the edge and leaning forward to place his paw on the button. He hesitated.. Then let out a soft sigh and waited for the button to be lit, quickly pressing down on it before stepping back again, waiting to see what would happen.
"Well... I guess now we wait!"

Kaydrys can't help but smile at Mystra's comment. "Hah, yeah sometimes, love 'em none the less, though." They can't help but still be nervous, but the conversation helped lighten the nerves, even if just a little bit.

Once they get into the room, Kaydrys takes in the scene around them. It certainly was interesting, but it was a bit unnerving, seeing sand in a room like this. They made very sure that their companions kept their paws, talons, and whatever else to themselves. Especially so when they saw the button. "It's broken..." Kaydrys spoke, only thinking to state the obvious as they looked at the button in all its flickering. "We probably shouldn't touch it. Best case scenario, it does something nice, but worse case scenario is that it's a trap and starts filling the entire room with sand. I don't want you- or anyone here to get hurt, so let's skip out on the button. Maybe we can dig around in the fountain and see if we can find anything-"
