Entry:
Kimmy runs around honking excitedly as she looks for pretty things to bring back to her Moms. She flaps her head wings excitedly as she collects every little pinecone she can find especially. She loves pinecones they are like tiny Christmas trees! She stands them up around her hometree to be a little miniature extra forest! She tries to collect some berries as well for snacks but ends up smashing them on the pinecones in her excitement and tinting the pinecones lots of funny colors! Then not so much on accident she does it more because it looks so pretty!

Choice woke up early in the morning to a grumbley stomach, stretching with a wide yawn, she stumbled out of her tent and started thinking about what she wanted for breakfast. She noticed something yellow hidden under a flowery bush, and she started shifting through branches and saw a large group of chanterelle mushrooms growing in the undergrowth. She honked happily and grabbed a small basket and began picking the little yellow fungi, once she finished picking them she heads further into the woods, hoping to mabye find some nummy berries to make a roasted salad with her mushrooms.

After padding around for about a few minutes, she tripped over a bramble and landed head first into a blackberry bush! With a few minutes of struggling she squirmed her way out of the bush and inspected her pelt, and pulled a couple thorns out of her fur. She quickly picked up the mushrooms she dropped and began inspecting the berries, and after deeming them safe to eat, she filled the rest of her basket with the blackberries, and headed back to camp and made her breakfast.

Entry: Meelis has ventured out while the sun was still out. She found smooth pebbles that felt cool in her hand and juicy berries hanging off a bush. Cute pinecones and funny-looking sticks scattered the floor. They were...nice, but not interesting enough for her. She needed something more exciting. That's when she saw an unusual bush.
The bush was overall normal except the flowers looked somewhat familiar... The colors, the shapes... Hmmm, Meelis definitely seen them from somewhere. She sniffed them and a waft of sweet lemony tang hit her nostrils. Very interested, Meelis decided to gather a few fresh samples to examine further.

Chicoon: Fauna

Entry: Fauna breathed in the fresh air, it smelled of old trees and morning moss. Her focus moved to the chirping next to her, she could tell by the sounds that one of her whutta friends, specifically Bumble, was trying to catch her attention. The day was early, and she knew the four of her whuttas would be just as hungry as herself, they already knew she wanted to go berrypicking for breakfast, there's no better way to spend the morning. Fauna dipped her head and nuzzled a good morning into Bumble then scooped up whichever whutta was closest and gave them a big hug, it was Waggle, who eagerly returned the hug then climbed onto Faunas head, Waggle chirped at Fauna, asking if she was ready to hunt berries, she chuckled and nodded eagerly, causing Waggle to laugh as they got tossed around on her head, holding onto Faunas wings for support.
Fauna nuzzle the remaining two whuttas, earning a greeting coo from Dewdrop and a tired yawn from Stinger. She readied her four whuttas, helping them get ready for a day as they return the favor by fixing her hair, adjusting her feathers, and smoothing her down. Fauna finally honked her ready sign and the four whuttas hopped into place, they lead the way as Fauna blindly followed, she listened carefully to the four of them as they guided her steps and became her eyes. They described the world to her in ways should couldn't imagine, even when she used to be able to see.
The group of five slowly led eachother along the lake bed, through the rocky terrain and dense shrubbery, they stopped occasionally to look at the scenery, view the mist blanket on the lake, listen to the morning croak of frogs, investigate a rather interesting root system... They had stumbled upon many types of berries as they walked, huckleberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries... but the little whuttas seemed to have a different breakfast in mind, Fauna didn't care she trusted her whuttas with her whole being, she knew they would be able to find the best berries. After a while of walking through the podzol, climbing the rough terrain, and passing multiple berry bushes, one of the four whuttas let out an excited squeak, they had found them!!
The whuttas rushed Fauna forward, every one of them following a scent trail, but not a single one leaving fauna's range or attention. Soon, even Fauna could smell them strawberries they were rare around this terrain, they generally like higher altitudes, but somehow her whutta knew they would be around! The small group of five rushed into a wide opening in the forest, the ground scattered with white flowers and bright red strawberries, the air was filled with the smell of sweet ripe berries and early morning mist, it would've been a beautiful sight, but Fauna k ew it would be an even better meal! The five of them spent the morning eating nearly every berry in the clearing, only bringing a few back to camp to show off the treasure they had found.

Entry: Story
The day after she setted up camp, Rosemary woke up and decided to venture for wild berries, nuts and plant that is edible so that there is enough food for eveyone at the campsite, she uses the time to take a basket with her which was opened already and carries it with her on one of her paws. She could see bushes that have berries on them and knowing which is edible and what wasn't she carefully takes the edible berries and puts them in the basket, however she almost made the mistake of disturbing a nest of insects that she left it alone before she finds herself getting stung by them. "Ok, so that's berries down, now to look for some plants that is edible, oh and I really need to look for some nuts as well, then it should be enough for everyone to go around" she said to herself. She uses the rest of the day getting plenty of nuts and edible plants not know that she is hungry, so she heads back to camp with enough berries, nuts and plants for everyone, she places it down by the camp and has a few berries that she has collected.

Entry:

Nyota has always been the mother of her slowly-growing group. The oldest and the wisest of the bunch, she's the one who goes out of her way to make sure everyone's well-fed, well-groomed, and looked after properly. Unfortunately, she's not very good at sneaking up on things. Usually she doesn't do this for food, just because some others want to see a chipmunk or something.. glowing markings don't do very well in this situation.

As she failed on sneaking up on yet another magpie, she decided to give up and go looking for food instead. She knew a good spot where some good mangoes grew, anyway.

She climbed the tree with ease, only occasionally getting nagged by a branch or two. She grabbed as many as she could and headed back down, getting caught in the twigs even more this time. Nevertheless, she relented and made it down.

She headed back to her home, greeting her pack(?) with many mangoes which were comically piled on whatever she could use to carry them. She dropped them on the ground and tried her best to ignore the giggling of her 'whelps'.

Entry: Sara loves being in nature, so today's activity feels like it was made for her! They are so excited to explore the campground some more and see what kinds of plants and animals they can find around here! Now the only question is, where to start exploring? It is not long before Sara's love of hiking leads her to the forest, where she happily wanders along the trails, looking around for any signs of small animals to watch. Eventually, they see a squirrel gathering acorns, and pause to watch for a while. When the squirrel is finally finished, Sara picks up a couple of the remaining acorns to bring along on the rest of her journey. Continuing on along the path, they eventually reach a large field full of wildflowers. To Sara, it looks amazing, all of these fowers together form a beautiful sight! After stopping for a few moments to just look around at all the flowers, she decides to gather a few. Selecting several really pretty yellow flowers, Sara carefully picks them and fashions them into a flower crown, which they place upon their head. Sara continues hiking for a bit longer before heading back towards camp; there are still several more places she wants to visit today!
Their next stop is the beach. Sara walks along the coastline, enjoying watching the water move up and down along the shore. This also uncovers a lot of cool looking shells, many of which Sara pauses to examine. A few of them, she decides to take along with her, mainly ones with lots of interesting designs on them. Sara sees a couple of crabs and watches them walk along, following them for a few minutes from a distance so as not to startle them. Returning to the shore, Sara looks around to try to find a turtle, one of her favorite animals to watch, and though it takes quite a while to find any, she is eventually rewarded for her patience when she notices a couple of turtles right next to the water. Sara watches the two turtles happily for a long time, before they remember there was another place they wanted to explore today. So, she somewhat reluctantly leaves the beach behind and heads to the lake.
Sara wanders around the lake, looking for any signs of the fish that live in there. Occasionally one will swim close enough to the surface that they can watch it for a bit. She then spends some time examining the rocks nearby. There are a few they really like, so they gather them up to add to their cool rock collection back at home. Sara has a lot of rocks in her rock collection, but somehow she's always finding new ones... Finally finished with her foraging for the day, Sara heads back to camp to examine her loot. Some acorns, a flower crown, and a variety of shells and cool rocks. Yes, this was definitely a good haul, Sara thinks while looking at each of the items. Perhaps their adventure was a bit more focused on exploring and watching nature than actually gathering things, but what they did find is more than enough for them. After all, memories count too, right? Sara certainly made many of those today as well.
