Rattle Snake took this new job very seriously, a little too seriously, to be completely honest. Marching around the edge of their camp and scrutinizing anything he deemed as suspicious (most of these things were, in fact, not suspicious). He wanted to make sure nothing else happened to ruin the other campers fun, and he felt like he needed to take on this task all by himself, despite the fact that a majority of the other campers were also keeping a close eye out for anything out of the ordinary. Rattle Snake just wanted to keep his newfound friends safe, and to hopefully take some stress off of the counselors. Besides, as much as he was grateful for the cover and having somewhere safe to sleep, it was nice to get out of the two-leg den for a while and be in the forest again.

being stuck inside the twoleg den wasn't exactly something gecko had looked forward to. any chance they got they would go out to make sure nothing was going wrong behind the group's backs - anything to get them out of the twoleg den. they made sure to make note of the surroundings and keep an eye out if anything had changed.

Art/Blurb 1: honeybee was glad to be out at the lake again. after yesterday's events, she couldn't help but feel relieved to have something else to focus on. fishing had always managed to calm her down. she lowered her body towards the ground, her paws resting along the edge of the lakeside. her gaze rested on the water ahead of her as she searched for signs of fish darting around within. even though the camp now had to share the lake with other animals, there still seemed to be plenty of fish left to catch. so far, everything seemed to be pretty normal, but she'd make sure to check around the perimeter in a little bit just in case.

Art/Blurb 2: the grass crunched softly underneath honeybee's paws as she crept through the undergrowth. she threw an occasional glance behind her, making sure that she stayed well within sight of the lake. the fire and the bear sighting had put the molly a little on edge, and she didn't want to stray too far from where the others were.

Art/Blurb 2: Dazzling Orchid trotted out of the twoleg den and into the woods, eager for some alone time away from all the other cats. She quickly found the perfect spot just within the designated border to start to her work. Taking slow, calming, and deep breaths, the she-cat picked a spot on the ground, pictured it in her mind, and envisioned her blood turning a deep, foresty green, and spilling out of her paws and into the ground, only to sprout up into a large wall of spiked vines. When she opened her eyes, there was just that. A towering, and terrifying wall of prickers stood before the she-cat. It was wedged between two, thick trunked trees, and acted as a barrier against any unwanted guests. Dazzle examined her work, patching up any gaps, and went on her way to repeat this a few more times around the rest of the border. A few barricades there, and few shorter, easier to grow fences here.

Blurb 2:His paws grazed the dirt, leaving a paw print as he walked, and with a gust of wind, ashes flew across the land; his blue eyes snapped shut, as he shielded his face from the flying ashes. And then once more returning to a cautious rhythm of sauntering deeper into the forest.

It was only then that he twirled around, casting his gaze around the area. And he saw something… a flicker of fur . behind him.

Was it… following him? He sharply exhaled a breath, swinging himself behind a wavering tree. Counting.

1 … 2… 3 … 4 … 5 … He slowly crept out of the tree’s shadow, ready to let out a warning cry.

But there was nothing.

Kestrelswoop paused, shaking his head, maybe… it was his own tail…. Yes, that was probably it… right?
