Prompt: I go on a lot of hiking trails, ad I love to collect little trinkets or rocks along the way, a bit of a collector of shiny things. But on one of my trails I found a rock with a bit of green on the side of it, thought it looked cool, and took it home. It sat on my shelf unnoticed for a few months, before I bought a rock tumbler (gemstones online are cheaper if they're not tumbled beforehand) and decided to see if any of my smaller rocks would look prettier once they'd been tumbled instead. So I set them in the machine and waited a week for results. And it turned out it wasn't just a rock at all, it was green aventurine. It wasn't technically a geode, since geode's are hollow rocks with quartz lining inside, but I like to think of it as a similar idea. This trotter really just reminded me of it.
