Munchies are mystical pygmy deer that are born whenever a wizard cooks something and mana feeds into the dish. They can be born from dishes familiar to us or from a 1,000 year old wizards family cook book. Though it is rare for Munchies or a Munchy to wield magic outside of conjuring their respective dish at will it is not unheard of however these Munchies tend to not look like the standard munchie either. Munchies also often come with accessories and are quite the fashionable creature, their dishes are also often just as dazzling and possibly inedible. Munchies are the only sustainable food source that doesn't require the flesh or product of an animal to produce a meal including it thus, there's no need to feel guilty if you happen across a Munchie with such items in it's dish.

Whaleberry: Whaleberry tastes like a mix of raspberries, blackberries, and it has an ocean-y smell and aftertaste. Whaleberry jam usually cooks out the ocean-y tastes but makes it taste slightly more tart. Whaleberry grows on the backs of century whales. Century whales are an ancient subclass of whales that have an entirely unique ecosystem growing on their backs. Whaleberries are red and smooth. When bitten into a purplish juice spills out. The pit is large and used for jewelry. Whaleberry is often enjoyed by the upper class, due to its scarcity. To get whaleberry you have to find a century whale, and hope it has whaleberry growing. Another reason it’s so rare is because of its inability to be farmed. The conditions required by the berry plant are ever changing.
Sea ducks are another creature that nest themselves on century whales. These ducks are much more common than the berries. Sea duck eggs are delicious, and they often have a pinkish color in the whites. They are often prepared on a bed of lettuce with whaleberry preserve.
Whaleberry also has a supposed medical use. Some more… seedy… doctors say that a whaleberry a day keeps the plague away. Though most of the time it’s just snake oil being peddled by salesmen.

Whaleberry: whaleberry is a light blue berry with red juice. Its bitter at first, almost like citrus fruits, but then it settles into sweetness. Very similar to the taste of pomegranate mixed with blueberries. The juice produced is very popular in summer beverages and is a good additive to lemonade, causing the drink to turn a nice shade of purple.

Whaleberry:
Whaleberry is extremely tart/sour to the taste, only a silly goose would pick them and eat them whole as is without putting a little sugar on it. Those that love the challenge welcome the zingy flavors to their tastebuds! Whaleberry depending on how it is prepared, can have a variety of different flavors, similar to its cousin the Schisandra berry. What flavors you can bring out differ with every dish you cook and every way you cook them. The possibilities are endless!

Whaleberry: instead of the typical "sour-then-sweet", the whaleberry is super duper sweet, until the sourness hits. most people enjoy the berry until the sweetness is gone, and then spit it out before the sourness hits. only the bravest of people continue through the sour phase...

This is reminiscent of a encyclopedia entry, reading about the Century whales and sea ducks, the supposed miraculous healing properties also added a really nice kick, Congrats RammuIsWeird! ;v;<33
