When Jozlyn was born, it was learned that they had what is called alexithymia, meaning they have a harder time identifying and expressing emotions. This always lead to her unable to make friends that stayed, but luckily, one did. They had stayed friends with Jozlyn all through out childhood, and had a strong bond, even when they couldn't express or identify hers or others emotions. But one day, she had fallen in love with someone from their school. This was the first time they've ever felt this kind of emotion, the person they had fallen in love with was a very timid and sweet, and had grown a bond with Jozlyn. And one night, on accident, they brought it up with their friend.Their friend didn't seem to mind them rambling at all, so, they thought not much of it. Turns out, later in the day, she caught word of something, something that had them suddenly filled with rage. It had turned out, on that day, their friend had confessed to the person, and the look of horror and betrayal on her face when she found out. This was the very first time, in her life, she ever expressed this much emotion, and in a short amount of time. They didn't found out until later, yet again, that it was all a lie. She felt even more betrayed, Why would her best friend, do that?

Ollie is a skittish yet troublesome fella, one who carefully plans every mission of mischief spotless of failure. As it goes.. he was the common thief of eating work lunches. After some time a worker was, rightfully so, fed up. The rascal loves cake- who couldnt love cake- and during one shift he wolfed down a red velvet slice that DIDNT have his name on it.. He started to feel warm around his cheeks but didnt think much of it. He thought it was the shear amount of joy from the dessert causing him to blush and the success from not being caught, though the feeling began to grow warmer.. and warmer.. till eventually it was scorching! As Ollie held his tongue out under the breakroom faucet he noticed from the corner of his eye that his friend was snickering at him.
'Well, well, well.. look who I got red handed-'
'More like /red faced/.' Another coworker huffed.
The world felt like it was honed in on him as he suddenly realized what had happened. They set him up! 'Wu ber beh hin thes?! (You were behind this?!)' Ollie still kept his tongue lapping up water as the two laughed, causing a whine of disappointment to squeak out.
'Eh dont cause a fuss Ollie, maybe thatll teach you not to scrounge around in the fridge.'
Ollie sulked the rest of the day while his numb tongue pathetically flopped out. Lets just say he was weary of touching anything in the breakroom after that incident.

Prompt: When Mauve was little, he got bullied for his unique and weird looking eye. He was quite the outcast from his perfect other classmates. He normally sat alone in the back of the classroom or by himself during lunch. He was quite lonely and shy, feeling like he didn’t deserve to interact with the others and that he didn’t look good, that his eyes were ugly.

All this ended when a new student came to his school and approached him at lunch and asked to be his friend. He never had a friend before, so this was a first. He assumed no one would want to be friends with a ugly loner who didn’t fit in, but this newfound friend did.

Mauve and his new friend spent a lot of time together, and Mauve couldn’t be happier. That was until his new friend started to ignore him and use him to get what they wanted. Mauve felt betrayed, and lost the ability to trust others. He now keeps to himself and stays away from others.

Fourteen years... that's how long we had been together, but why did it have to end like this? You'd think two people who had been in a relationship that long would be inseparable, but everyone has their reasons for being together and I guess hers became one of pity for the past three years.
Everything she said to me that night broke me, her words like a hammer to the fragile glass that was my heart, shattering it to pieces that lay scattered on the floor.

She told me that she had fallen out of love with me and felt like she had to stay with me because of my blindness, that our relationship had become a lie, that she was afraid I'd end up alone and lonely if she ever left me because she still cared for me.
What really got me was when she slipped up in her words and revealed that she had been in another relationship, that this new man was everything I was not.
How could she have done this to me? Why didn't she just tell me the truth those three years ago, and instead lied to me for that time and betrayed me for another man...

But it all makes sense now. The little comments she would make about things, and the fact she kept pushing off the wedding we had been trying to plan. She was just too afraid to tell me the truth, afraid of hurting me that she hurt herself by staying.
She was my best friend since we were children, it just didn't make any sense why this was happening.

What was I doing wrong? Was I treating her poorly? Was I needing too much assistance with things? Was I being clingy? Or was it really just because I'm blind? That I couldn't do the things a seeing man can, that he can look at her beauty and complement every aspect of it, that he can give her gifts that made him think of her when he saw it. For her not having to describe how something looks when I asked about it, not having to worry about helping me navigate new places, or the fact that she could never wear headphones around me or show me her art.

I only wish to understand why she lied to me, why she was cheating on me, why she stayed unhappy for so long, why in the end even though she still cared about me it seemed as though she hated me for all the years spent together.
I lost my best friend, the love of my life, my fiancé. Why did you do this to us? Now there's nothing but the shattered glass on the floor, no looking back at anything we once had, we could have stayed friends, but instead we are left with nothing.
