Name: Mountain of Rain // "Cascade"
Name Meaning: Named after the location of his favorite flower, the Cascade Aster, from Mount Rainier National Park in Washington State. It's my favorite National Park, and has just the most stunning mountain ranges and unique tundra-loving plant and animal species.
Gender: Male
Prompt: Cascade's favorite flower is the
Cascade Aster (photo by me), which is a wildflower that is native to Washington and northern California, mostly in the Cascade Mountain range. It has a very small range and prefers mountainous/tundra environments, where it has adapted to be hardy to survive the poor soil quality and cold temperatures.

Name: CDs Bounding through the Prairie // Antelope
Name Meaning: (Optional) Relates to their fav plant!
Gender: male
Prompt: Antelope Milkweed is a neat little plant. While nothing particularly eye-catching, Antelope enjoys this plant simply because it is beautiful in its own ways. The milkweed is used by Monarch butterflies and sprouts cute little flower bundles. It also has a neat little property where if it is cut or ripped, it "milks." They are also poisonous, but that's just another bonus.

Name: the lily of the nile | agapanthus
Name Meaning:
show: the African lily, sometimes know as the 'lily of the nile', while not native to northeast Africa and instead stems from the southeast, means 'love flower' in greek, which I think fits perfectly not only with this gorgeous collie, but the range of hues this flower possesses, ranging from a vibrant purple to a more pastel blue and gorgeous whites, which I think ties into this collies pretty pelt and markings.
kennel: the scientific name for the African lily: agapanthus orientalis
Gender: female
Prompt: named after the agapanthus orientalist, the African lily or the lily of the nile, all of which are different names for the same gorgeous plant. a more indepth explanation and description (along with gorgeous photos) can be found here: gardenia.net

Prompt:Image + Credit.
With their intricate design and eye catching colours, Sydney has always had a fascination with Dianthus chinensis heddewigii. More often then not she can be found sleeping under the flowers. Her handlers have woven a crown of these flowers for her to wear around the farmland.

Name: Lux Stars' After the Inferno | Fireweed
Name Meaning: After a fire, the plant Fireweed often rapidly colonizes the scorched area, returning it to floral life and making it inhabitable for animals once more, particularly by providing a food source and drawing insects. I based his call name on this amazing feature of the plant. This ability has also led to the plant being known as bombweed in the UK, because it rapidly appeared after the Blitz of WW2.
Gender: Male
Prompt: When the warmer weather comes around, this boy can be found among the
Chamaenerion angustifolium, locally known as
Fireweed. A truly amazing flower, they can grow to be 6 feet tall or even higher! The blooms range from a faded purple through a brilliant pink color that can
light up the landscape with its blossoms. They grow wild in my home state, but some people also cultivate them for their unique appearance and the fact that each stem can grow up to 50 blooms.
