They're quite powerful and loyal companions. While some may choose to live in colonies out in the wild, others may choose the companionship of humans. Many Storkies also possess magical abilities, though require the usage of runes to unlock them.

"Hm," Is the only thing the blindfolded Storkat says as they look down at you. You shiver a little under their veiled gaze. "Hm." They say again, and turn away into their cave, gesturing with a flick of their tail for you to follow.

The Foreteller's den is wide and spacious, with what seems to be constellations carved into the stone walls, which curve up and up before opening widely into an open roof. Having arrived just after dusk, you were told to wait. For what reason, you didn't know. You sat quietly and watched as they bustled around, carefully spreading stardust in wide, looping patterns on the floor. The den grew darker and darker as night fell, and when the sky was illuminated full of stars, they finally called you forward.

"Step into the light. Please be careful of the dust, its arrangement is important." Obeying their orders, you inched forward, carefully stepping over the thick lines of powder scattered methodically around the den. In the very center of the den, you were directed to sit in front of the black tabby, who, despite their obscured eyes, seemed to be examining you.

"So -- you have come to ask what the stars have planned for you in their galaxy of destinies." They hummed. You sheepishly nodded in reply. The Storkie smiled gently, and dipped their head, reaching up to remove their blindfold. "Then let the truth be illuminated."

The veil and joker card fell to the floor, and they looked up at you with eyes of brilliant violet, littered with shimmering flecks of white. An Astral magician. As soon as their eyepiece was removed, the constellation carvings in the wall lit up with various shades of purple, flooding the den with light. Overhead, the stars seemed to shimmer brighter than ever. A shiver ran down your spine, goosebumps tingling under your fur. They looked up at you as the stardust laid around the den began to softly glow a comforting gold.

"At the dawn of time, the stars charted everything that had and everything that would, from beginning to end. From can to could to will, the secrets to the universe are hidden behind the constellations and supernovas of the galaxies. It is with great honour I, an Astral Storkatten, use my abilities to divine the stars' instructions and help a lost soul find their road to destiny once more."

The other Storkie smiled at you, taking your paw in theirs. "Now," They said kindly, "Let's see what the stars have in store for you."
