prompt: what is this Storkie's view on Strength? mini. 50 words.


She grew up understanding the importance of the phrase, strength in numbers, not only because of the connection her family had to the colony, but because of her older brother. He taught her to see the value of not only being strong yourself, but surrounding yourself with strong allies, ones who would do anything for you and your goals.

It's harder to snap a bundle of sticks compared to a single stick after all.

This storkie was never,,, Very big on worrying about strength, no matter how much other storkies would insist how important it was. They were in no means weak, no, they were actually quite strong, but they didn't base their worth on their strength.
They were used to being complimented on their strength, but it meant little to nothing to them. They would accept the compliments though, of course.
Still, when it came down to it, they more appreciated the compliments on their voice from that one certain storkie they saw everyday. They had to wonder though, why did this storkie enjoy their voice so much?

I'm usually better at this stuff but this prompt is honestly kinda difficult for me lol- I might come back and edit later, might not </3

This Storkies biggest strength is trust. Not only that others trust in them, but they trust in others. After everything they’ve been through they still let their guard down, they still have faith in others, and will protect anyone with their life. Their trust in others have had good outcomes, even resulting in friends. Other times it results in trouble and even getting hurt again like they once did. Some may call this a weakness, as “it’s not safe to trust people you don’t know well” or “you can’t let your guard down, someone will hurt you.” Though sometimes the things are right, but in this Storkies eyes, this is a strength to them and the others around them.

To Amereth strength of body is something only thugs and miscreants need. It is an excuse to be a bully, to act like one is the head honcho, to be bossy and aggravating and - you get the point. Amereth has had enough of cats that think they can be cruel to others just because they were born with bigger and stronger bodies, though she slightly respects those who have worked hard for their strength. As long as they arent using it to pick on others.

But now, now Amereth has the strength to defeat them. A different kind of strength, a mental and determined strength of words and intelligence. She knows the words that can make others stop, that make them hesistate. She knows how to make their other weaknesses show. How to build up the strength of those physically weak. She beleives in a strength of character, knowing how to act confident, how to be kind even when everything is going wrong.

Strength should aways be used to help not harm. If Amereth has to be strong to make it so then that is how it goes.

Strength? That was not something that could be measured by physical prowess or ability. No, for Jareth strength was something that could be found inside, and that was the ability to protect those you cared for. Whether that was through words, and standing up for them... or through more brutish means it all came down to the same thing. If you could ensure no harm came to those you loved, then you were strong. To hurt others made a storkatten the weakest, he feels, but if you hurt those you care for you are even weaker than that.

Your strength is in your loyalty and heart.

Strength is the power to stand alone. The ability to face any challenge. Strength is protecting those you care about, and being able to shoulder their burdens in addition to your own.

Of course, he values physical strength as well, but that’s not the end all be all. He has yet to crumble, and takes pride in that fact. However, with the amount of pressure he continually places on himself, it’s simply a matter of time.
