As a passionate and dedicated beekeeper, there is nothing Calliope could love more than her hives of bees. Her hobby-turned-small business started only accidently when she found a nest built outside her house wall. It was then she decided to keep her mini houseguests and box them. She became so immersed into beekeeping that it became what felt like entirely her life, constantly inspired by new education and flowers for her different hives.

It took a long time for Calliope to begin selling her honey product, and was only convinced by the constant persistence and encouragement of her close friend Hecate. Initially Calliope had a manageable of honey produced her buy bees that she could gift spare to her friends to enjoy. Her small hobby quickly turned into more hives and even more honey. A fact that Calliope would vehemently deny, she simply had too much honey. Selling some became the best solution to deal with her never-ending inventory of honey. As her ever-loyal friend, Hecate still gets to enjoy a gift of free honey, as if it were a regular subscription.

When she was in 3rd grade, Hallia's teacher introduced to her a series of books called The Lost Years of Merlin by T.A. Barron. She had read many books before this and had a few favorites, but none of them had pulled her in like these books had. From beginning to end, she was enraptured.

The series tells of a young boy who wakes up on a beach in a mythical land called Fincayra with no memories of his past, his name, and no knowledge of how great his destiny will be. He would later be called Merlin, the very same Merlin who would come to Avalon and serve King Arthur in the famous Arthurian legends. This tale is before Avalon and King Arthur however, and tells how Merlin would eventually become the land's most powerful wizard and would save it from many evils.

One of the things Hallia loves most about the series is the author's incorporation of nature into the story. He really captures how beautiful, magical, and powerful it can be, and how important it is to preserving it. As a nature-lover herself, Hallia appreciates this and can tell that the author also cares deeply for nature. The series would also spark her interest in the fantasy genre, and it's been her favorite ever since.

What is their favorite dnd class to play?

Whenever Lupus is going to play with new people he gets a huge grin on his face, why? Well, most that know him see him as a jokester with a tendency to flirt and so he's usually regarded as someone who isn't very serious... Which, yes, it's true that he's actually pretty laid back and goes with the flow but when it comes to DnD? Oh, that's a very important matter. Aside from the initial shock that he gets when he tells others that he plays as a rogue, Lupus gets doubted about his skills to play such a role... Soon they get to see a side of him that isn't brought to the light very often: how surprisingly perceptive and calculating he is, able to act quickly to avoid traps and take down enemies with a single strike on the perfect spot... He always gets so much fun out of it, he's a great addition to a game because he's wonderful help... Though it may come with the cost of giving him some shiny things, he uses his stealth to get riches so unless you want your stuff stolen you should just give it to him willingly.

A class that Lupus wishes to play is the bard.

Why don't/haven't they played it?

Lupus hasn't yet played as a bard for a simple but embarrassing reason... He's afraid of it being too predictable, his demeanor matches with the typical jokes of the bard who charms every single enemy that they see... And, yes, he'd actually love to try that out, he thinks it fits him quite well but he likes catching others off guard with his favorite class... It's a dilema that he deals with constantly, he can never decide what he wants to do so he ultimately gives up and sticks to playing as rogue.


Relationship between Keldine 567 and 565 (Partner: Furrydogs12 #992378):

Lupus and Gloria have been best friends for as long as he can remember. Their first meeting was quite special in a not so good way, the keldine had been gleefully laughing as he ran away from his friends after playing a prank on them but he wasn't exactly paying attention to where he was going since he was just focused on getting away and because of it... Lupus ended up crashing onto poor Gloria, he wanted to say sorry but his buddies were right on his trail so he took off without a single word. It wasn't something that he thought about, he felt bad but after a while it slipped his mind... Until he saw her again at the park one day, the memory came back to him and Lupus felt that he had to make up for that accident, grabbing some nearby daffodils as he made his way towards the bench she was sitting on. Obviously when she saw him once more she was hesitant about his presence and also reasonably annoyed, Lupus persisted however, apologizing for what happened and wanting to learn more about her... Which Gloria reluctantly accepted to let him know. The meetings continued due to the unexpected success of the second one, with Lupus still bringing over flowers to her because of their shared love for nature... Gloria was really kind to him, she would make sure that he took care of himself, listened to what he had to say and most shocking of all... She thought he was funny! Everyone said that his puns were horrible but she loved them. In turn he would cheer her up when she was feeling down, make her step out of her comfort zone with new activities and... Well, friendly flirt with her just like he did with all of his other pals, he couldn't help it, she's very pretty... He liked her a lot, perhaps more than in a friend way as time went on but there's no way she'd like him back right? Recently it seems that things are a little different though... Gloria would compliment him more frequently, gaze at him almost longingly when she thought he wasn't looking and when he brought a rose to her one day her face became as red as a tomato! Lupus doesn't consider any of this unwelcome, he's really glad that she thinks he's a good friend! But... Why does she seem so exasperated sometimes? Did he say the wrong thing when she asked him what to say to someone she had a crush on? He told her to tell them "I like you" and she repeated it back to him, she got it right, which he told her so... What was that tired but still fond stare about?

What is their favorite dnd class to play?
Hecate loves playing a rogue! The thought of finding things to collect and "steal" excites her! She is well versed in herbs, and will collect them when her party is adventuring towards dungeons. Some that are healing or medicinal, and some that may aid in defeating bosses. Her favorite story to tell is of one time when her party's barbarian accidentally borrowed her foxglove to try to aid in the healing of a wound, only to be mildly poisoned! Another reason Hecate loves playing a rogue is that she can usually solo smaller bosses and hunt when needed, though it does have its downsides such as carry weight.

What is one they wish to play?
Ah to play a bard would be one of Hecate's dreams. Charming information out of people, boosting her party in battle, and singing in a tavern. She would also give so many gifts as a bard!

Why don't/haven't they played it?
The only thing stopping Hecate from playing a bard is that she is self concious of her voice, and only sings in solitude or in front of her best friend. She fears that she may be slightly tone deaf, though there is no one to confirm nor deny the fact as she has sworn her friend to utter secrecy. She also fears that even if she's not a horrible singer, when under pressure she fears she may mess up the lyrics or that her voice may crack. She is working up the courage constantly to sing infront of her other friends, in hopes it may help her someday acheive her goal to play her dream class!

What is their biggest ambition/goal when it comes to dnd?
Hecate would absolutely love to be a DM! Though she's unsure of where to start, and how to recruit players, the idea of creating a homebrew campaign sounds thrilling! She would also love to work with her best friend, and find a way to incorporate them as an NPC. If it hadn't been for her friend's encouraging words and kindness, Hecate would have given up completely on trying to reach her goal of one day playing a bard. It would be her way of thanking her friend for their unconditional support in everything Hecate does!

Hecate, an ever enthusiastic social butterfly, had a secret since she was young. She loved to sing. As outgoing as she may be, she had no confidence in her voice. She often turned down friends asking her to sing karaoke with them, making up some sort of excuse as to why, and returning home. One spring, after being invited to karaoke and giving an excuse of sorts she found herself wandering down a new trail. It had finally warmed up significantly, and was a beautifuk day outside. She was casually humming to herself, when she happened upon a couple of small beehives. As she slowly approached she had started singing soft melodies to the bees, hoping to inspect the hives. While off in her own world singing to the bees, another keldine had approached quietly. When Hecate had turned around she choked mid song. The keldine ,who introduced herself as Calliope, explained that she had just been coming to check on her colonies when she had heard a soft peaceful song. She had apologized for startling Hecate, as she'd meant no harm. Hecate would come and sing for Calliope and her bees, and in return Calliope would gift Hecate honey. This was only the beginning of their long lasting friendship. As they grew closer, Hecate learned that Calliope genuinely loved and cared for her bees and their colony. She also learned that Calliope usually had more honey than she needed for herself and for her bees. Hecate encouraged her friend to try selling a little bit of the honey, reassuring her all the time that others would love it. After a while, Calliope had grown her little hobby into a full blown business! Though her friend seemed to have little interest in actually playing dnd, she would always listen to the stories that Hecate would tell her. One day Hecate blurted out she would love to play a bard, and Calliope who had always listened to Hecate explain the different glasses beamed. It was as if her friend's eyes glistened with adventure on her behalf. After finding out this bit of information, Calliope would insist that Hecate try it out everytime she heard hecate sing. Hecate would always deny it and say she wasn't confident enough, but secretly she was incredibly thankful for her friend and her constant encouragement. It was exactly the boost she needed. Every day she works on trying to find the courage to sing around others. Sometimes it would just be her singing as she strolled past a stranger, other times it would be to different species. Someday she will be able to sing infront of her dnd friends! If she ever figures out how to create and run her own campaign as a dm, she would definitely honor Calliope by making her a beekeeping druid alchemist npc. Her magic potions would be made with her bees honey in the story. Her character would be a kind and gentle soul. Hecate's thanks for being a great friend, and for all of her encouragement through the years.

Aconite sat down at the table, pondering which character of the many they'd developed
to play in the next session. classically, they would have chosen to play either a cleric or
paladin. playing a class with a holy background was always so fun and could lead to many
many interesting scenarios. however, in this particular session they wished to have Capri
and Lucenia observe, they chose to play a ranger. rangers are strong, fierce warriors but
also nimble and sometimes invisible. you never know when one has their arrow trained on
you until it's too late.

there was one character in the pile that Aconite desperately wanted to play, but just hasn't
yet; a half-elf druid who seemingly doesn't get along well with the animals he's supposed to
work with. the character, lovingly called 'not today' by Lucenia, would be a challenge as
Aconite had never seriously played a druid before. it shouldn't be too difficult to adapt but
Aconite was always unsure of starting a game with him. maybe Lucenia has some books to
convince Aconite to finally pick 'not today' for the next game. or maybe the trouble is in the
way the character was written.

it was one of the first characters created by Aconite during their d&d obsession, but didn't
know anything about creating plausible backstories for characters. as Capri is an amazing
writer, during the blossom of their friendship they'd helped develop many backstories and
over time they created viable characters to have in serious games. the half-elf druid was
a hastily thrown together character so they could get used to the mechanics of the game
without being serious at all. Aconite would need to enlist the help of Capri to get the druid
from a place of childish hopes to serious competition.



as the clouds gathered outside, the three enthusiasts gathered around a candlelit table,
covered in the spoils of their adventures; dice, antique books and tiny figures of heroines
and monsters. Aconite looked down at the table and scoffed, turning to Capri with a look
of distaste.
"I thought you were going to get the paper? we need to finish this tonight!"
Capri shot a look back at the gloomy keld, muttering under xir breath that it wasn't always
xir duty to bring the supplies, especially if nobody had told xir the paper had run out from
the last session. in times of great stress as this, Aconite could get a bit moody and if often
clouded their judgement, especially when it came to Capri.

Capri was the newest member of the trio, joining a day after Aconite and Lucenia had
been rather loud in the public library arguing over something unimportant. Capri had come
over to ask them to be a bit quieter but found xirselves intrigued by the root source of the
argument; Dungeons and Dragons. Aconite, being a keld of secrecy and mistrust, didn't
like an unknown someone coming into the conversation they were having and asked
Capri to leave. it was Lucenia who'd asked xir to stay after noticing the writing materials
Capri always carried around. they all eventually bonded over a shared interest in the worlds
of fantasy and adventure, and regularly hosted what Aconite called 'escape sessions' to write
new stories and create amazing characters. if it wasn't for Capri, Aconite wouldn't have
developed the wonderful characters they play, or have any idea on how to write them in
such a detailed manner.

Lucenia walked in from the kitchen, having heard the commotion from the other two.
concerned, she placed the cups of hot chocolate on the table and folded her arms.
"why on earth are you two arguing?"
nothing should make Aconite and Capri argue like this, they considered each other as
siblings.
"Capri forgot the paper."
Aconite reached for their cup, a black mug that was slowly changing to show a red d20
as the mug itself heated up. after taking a sip, they looked back over at Capri, and
pondered.
"what are we going to do without the paper? we needed it for the book."
Aconite wasn't the most creative soul, but luckily Lucenia was. she quickly came up with
a fun solution; to make the paper they'd need.
"if we make it ourselves, it'll be even more special. truly our own book!"
Capri's face lit up like one of the candles xir'd helped place around the table not long
before, xir'd always wanted to make xir own paper to use for stories.
"of course! but we'd need to make sure it's not too thick, and where
would we get the paper scraps to make it?"
"I'm sure we can find some around the house, old letters and school handouts."

as the three gathered the supplies they'd need, Aconite was reminded of the amazing
team they all made, and how each of their skills and likes complimented each other
perfectly. Aconite would certainly be lost in the world if it wasn't for Lucenia and Capri.
and not even just in the world of fantasy gameplay and writing, just in general. Aconite
is a very fight first without thinking kind of keld, and they know this is a problem. through
the d&d games they try and play characters that challenge this way of thinking, and that's
where the other two come in. Lucenia with her vast library of books to tell Aconite all the
ways of different races and classes, the history and lore behind each one. and from sources
outside of d&d as well, she didn't just read those particular books. Lucenia taught Aconite
how to be a better keld, and they couldn't be more thankful to have her as a friend.

the stars danced across the sky as the three worked on their paper. one was in charge of
shredding, another blending and the last assembling. all working in perfect harmony,
like they were a well-oiled machine. they soon finished the paper, and as they waited for
it to dry they built a blanket fort and talked about faraway lands until they fell asleep.
the book they'd worked on for months planning would not be assembled tonight, but that's
ok. the fun they had together has made the journey worth it.

The one thing Capri loves the most, is writing. Creation. The freedom to make entire
worlds, the people, the flora, the fauna. To create all of these things from scratch and
to be able to share these worlds with others, by just simply writing them down.
Turning pencils into dragons.

Capri has loved writing for as long as xe could remember, and the desire to share xir stories
with others is how xe and Lucenia bonded. Such an enthusiastic beta reader is hard to come
by, and Capri values her critiques and ideas more than anyone else's, and is always excited
for Lucenia's reaction to new installments of xir stories.

The world of DnD pulled Capri in just like it did Lucenia. It was constant creation and world-
building. And the characters. Xe spent hours with Aconite, helping them build up their
characters and pulling their backstories together, and to see them in action during a session
was even more rewarding. Capri was always sure to bring xir notebooks and extra pens when
observing Aconite's sessions to take notes; mainly for their own stories, but also to help Aconite
keep their characters in order, and to jot down any information Lucenia shares from her books
and manuals.
