The camp was growing dim in the fading glow of the sunset, the cats winding down after a successful day of patrolling, hunting, and training. The soft murmurs of conversation could be heard throughout the camp, mates telling each other about their days, cats enjoying their down time.

Amidst a bundle of fur, Butterfly was in her usual spot, surrounded by a plethora of kits and younger apprentices. She was setting the tone for her latest tale; a story of warmth, and a bird. The crowd gathered around the fluffy cat was hushed, staring up at her with bright and eager eyes.

"Imagine this, enjoying the feeling of the warm spring sun on your pelt, almost distracted by the rays that seem to melt past your fur into your bones... thawing them out after being under snow for a long season of cold. All of our spirits were high, already blessed with a large bounty of prey. We were relaxing, enjoying the meadow... and... it was quiet. Do you hear that?" The kits hushed each other, straining forward, trying to hear what Butterfly said she could hear. "A beating of wings!" The young cat makes a soft noise, mimicking the sound of wings, much to the kit's delight. From the entrance to the nursery, the parents of the kits smile, seeing the awe and excitement on their kits' faces.

"It has been said that birds are out gateway to the skies. Be kind to them, and thank them for their wisdom, whenever you can. We watched the bird for a while, seeing it circle above the meadow, until it dove!" Butterfly made a quick pouncing gesture, causing some of the kits to squeal lightly in surprise. "What was it after, you might ask? Some rabbits! It startled a gathering of rabbits from their hiding spot, got one for itself, and we sprang to action, catching some more prey to feed our clan!" The kits murmured again in delight, each stealing glances to check out the now-full prey pile from the hunting patrols of the day.

"That's why we always say to keep your eyes on the birds. They will always see things that we don't."

Butterfly has always had a love of kits, and her greatest attribute has been said to be her engaging and emotional storytelling skills. She is almost always seen near the nursery after her duties are done, telling the stories of her days. Even on days where seemingly nothing happens, Butterfly has a willing audience to listen to her. With her soft voice and her eager tales, even adult cats find themselves smiling and enraptured with Butterfly's tales.

Before having read the outside blurb explanation, I could immediately tell what the attribute was supposed to be. I thought the writing of the small scene was very lovely and gave a good sense of character <3 Congrats!
